I only accept dogs from a single home and only when I’m working from home. So you can expect your dog to receive my full care and attention and only be left alone for very short times, for example if I need to pop to the shop.

Before committing to care for your pet I like to know what a typical day looks like for them. Their routine and habits, including where they sleep, so that I can be confident of replicating the environment they are most used to. It’s really helpful therefore to ensure that your pet’s profile contains this detail, as well as where you are registered at the vet and whether you prefer on lead/off lead exercise. If your pet has behaviours such as being reactive or nervous, or a resource guarder, it is really useful to know how you typically manage this behaviour so that I can keep responses nice and stable and consistent for them.

I will try to replicate the routine your dog is used to so please ensure you populate their profile with this information. For exercise I can take them around the village along a lovely wooded railway path or along the shore line for a sniffari. For longer stays we might get to go on an adventure in the car and try some walks further afield.

When I’m working from home, I’m happy to devote my energy and love to your dog and make sure that when you’re at work or away, they are living their best life. Just tell me what they’re used to and I will try to replicate. I’ve raised puppies and cared for elderly dogs. None of it phases me. I’m particularly experienced with sight hounds and lurchers of all shapes and sizes but all dogs are good dogs. If you think I can help, get in touch. I will board them in my home by the sea, where they can enjoy on lead and off lead walks according to your preference at least once and usually twice per day. If you’re working long hours or just visiting North Wales and want a nice day out but can’t take you dog, I can watch them for you until you get back

Alison and Dave are the best dog sitters we’ve ever had. The dogs clearly didn’t want to leave after a week of getting spoilt by cuddles, treats and big walks despite the heat. Alison agreed to take our dog for the day at very short notice whilst we were on holiday, for which we were very grateful. He was well cared for and she gave him a good walk and clearly looked after him lovingly, giving him care and attention. She seemed confident and experienced with dogs and we would definitely use her services again, if needed and she was available.
