I’ve been taking care of dogs for about 6 years, and have been surrounded by pups most of my life, helping friends, family, and neighbours with walking, feeding, and general care. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always make sure they feel safe and relaxed. I enjoy spending time outdoors and keeping pets active, but I’m equally happy to provide calm companionship for more easygoing dogs. My goal is to give each pet the same level of attention and care I would want for my own.

Alisha is a great pet sitter. She loves dogs and cats and we have gotten her to watch our pets numerous times and she is always so gentle and loving to them. Alisha is also very reliable and I have asked her on more than one occasion to pet sit at very short notice and she has always came through for us. I would recommend Alisha being she is very friendly, approachable and flexible. Our pets also seem to love her more than us too I think.

Schedule
I work full-time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to work from home a few days a week. I’m free every evening and on weekends, which gives me plenty of time to focus on pet care. Whether it’s evening walks, weekend drop-ins, or overnight stays, I make sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they need. I enjoy having that time to unwind outdoors with the dogs I care for and it’s often the best part of my day.

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible, such mealtimes, walks, play, and any specific instructions they provide. I want each pet to feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment, so I make sure to keep things consistent and calm. If a pet stays in my home, I provide a safe and relaxed space where they can settle in easily. I make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, and downtime, depending on their needs and energy level. My goal is to keep pets happy, cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.
A typical day
A typical day includes morning walks, feeding, playtime, and mental enrichment games. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, cuddles, rest time, and consistent routines throughout the day.
