I am an enthusiastic young woman with a strong love for animals. I have owned 4 dogs throughout my life (I currently own 3), so I am fairly experienced when it comes to caring for animals. I have pet-sat countless family and friend animals, making me well-experienced when it comes to animal-sitting. No matter what the size or breed, I will make sure your pet(or pets!) receive the absolute best care. I will feed, walk, play with, watch, and love your pet. With me, you can trust that your pet(s) are in good hands. After all, your furry friend(s) deserve the best! I have experience with caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I have expert experience in caring for reptiles and fish, as I am a ball python and beta fish owner.

Alexis was a lifesaver! My job sent me on an assignment across the country with only 3 days notice and Alexis was able to watch my dog while I was gone, even with the short notice. She regularly kept me updated on how things were going and sent pictures as well. She was great with my dog and followed all of his trainers instructions as well! I have extensive experience with caring for both large and small breeds. Most of my skillset is catered toward dogs, however, I have had experience with cat sitting. I can walk, feed, and care for all breeds. I am a huge animal lover and do not have any preferences when it comes to breed type or size. I absolutely love playing with animals or simply just relaxing with them. I own a hatchback vehicle, so if the animal requires a transport I can provide that service.

Before sitting a dog I would like to know their behaviors and habits (Are they timid or outgoing? Are they afraid of loud noises or large objects? Any places both in and out of the house we should avoid? Are they high energy? What are their favorite toys and favorite games to play?). I would also like to know any allergies or health conditions a dog may have, and what activities we should avoid as to not aggravate said allergies/health conditions. Is your dog people or dog aggressive? If so, what steps should I take if we run into another person or animal? I do not have any breed preferences! Dogs of all breeds are welcome by me!
A typical day
I will take your dog(s) on a walk around the neighborhood and to any nearby parks or trails if allowed. I will play any games with your dog (fetch, frisbee, tug-of-war, etc.) Even if your dog prefers running around (or lounging in the sun!), I will be happy to play or relax with them. If your dog is jumpy and high energy, no worries! I love playing with any dog, no matter what the size, breed, or energy!

Availability
I am currently working full-time, with most of my shifts starting at 9AM and ending at 5PM. I do occasionally work afternoons and evenings, where I start my shifts at 2PM and end at around 9PM. I typically have 1-2 days off in the beginning of the week (usually Sundays and Mondays). I can easily stop in for morning, afternoon, or evenings walks and check-ins based on my availability. If notified around a week in advance, I can provide overnight pet sitting services.
