I’m Alexis and dogs are a huge passion of mine! I’ve been looking after pups since I was eight. I love when I can just cuddle up with a pup and watch movies or do homework. My school schedule is open enough that I can flex my life around your dog’s routine. If your dog likes to spend a lot of time outside, I go running a lot, so your dog will get plenty of exercise. But if your dog wants to stay in and cuddle, I'm just as fine with that. I value professionalism. That’s why I insist upon a meet-and-greet, so you and I can work together to ensure your dog has the best stay possible. I’m really detail-oriented, but it will pay off in the end when your dog returns to you healthy and happy. I adore dogs of every size and breed. I’m also a huge cat lover. I’m not really a cat person or a dog person—how can you choose? They’re both great! I would happily look after cats as well as dogs. I love Rover because it allows us to care for pups while earning money for my college tuition! Who could say no to such a perfect combination? I am really looking forward to meeting you and your dog. We’ll have a great time! I am currently working part-time and going to school full-time. I am able to provide potty breaks every 4-8 hours maximum and will be staying in your home overnight to keep your pet more comfortable! While caring for your pets in your home I like to have an idea of the typical schedule they have and try my best to follow it as best as I can with my own schedule.

It’s been hard to find someone that we trust staying at our home with our dog but Alexis is the absolute best. She is very fast at communicating and keeps us updated throughout the day!

Alexis did a great job watching our animals and home while we were away for a long weekend. She sent photos and updates each day. I was so nervous leaving one of my dogs who has high anxiety, but Alexis knew how to handle her and make sure she felt as comfortable as possible. Alexis did a great job following the schedule we have for the animals and basic rules - like one who isn't allowed upstairs. This was my first experience using Rover.com and I would definitely book with Alexis again!
What a great experience! Alexis was amazing! She took care of our dog and two cats while we were away for a week. She immediately replied to any questions we had. Her communication was fantastic! She sent pictures and updates throughout the day! She followed all instructions that we provided. She gave us peace of mind so we could have a wonderful vacation!

A typical day
I’m an avid runner, and your dog is welcome to join me. We’ll go for a walk or a run at least once a day, granted they like to go for walks. I’ll let them out according to the schedule they’re used to and go out to play fetch if that’s what they like. If your dog is used to sleeping with a human, that is okay for me, too. I’ll happily adapt to your and your dog’s preferences.
