Hello there, my name is Alexandra, or Ali for short, and I am excited to offer my pet care services through Rover to you and your furry family members. With over 8 years of experience in animal care, I have the knowledge and expertise to provide your pets with the highest quality of care they deserve. My passion for animals began in 2014 when I rescued and rehabilitated my own pup. From there, I continued to foster dogs in my own home for a year in 2015 and 2016. Later on, I worked at an animal shelter in Wichita Falls, TX where I gained valuable experience and knowledge about the details of caring for animals. I extended my knowledge further through volunteering at the SPCA of Texas in the summer of 2017, where I participated in an in-depth program for volunteers. Since April 2018, I have been providing pet sitting and dog walking services through Rover, and I absolutely love it.

Alexandra did an awesome job with our senior dog Maggie, who has limited eyesight and hearing and is on medication. She was great about keeping us updated and sending incredible pictures of Maggie. You can really tell that Alexandra truly loves dogs!
Ali was great with our dogs. She had very good communication and sent pictures of our boys often while we were traveling.
We were able to take all our extended family - and left all the extended grand pups with Ali! Never worried for a moment. Arrived home to a “cleaner than I left” house! Highly recommend!

A typical day
I love engaging with the pets I watch, whether they're dogs or cats. For dogs, I enjoy playing fetch, tug-of-war, or giving them a good belly rub. I take them on walks to parks, trails, or other dog-friendly areas where they can enjoy the outdoors and exercise. For cats, I love interactive play with toys like feather wands, as well as gentle petting and cuddling. In all cases, I consider the pet's personality, energy level, and preferences when planning activities, ensuring they have a positive and enjoyable experience under my care.

Availability
I work a full time day job from 8-4:30, Monday-Friday so I am only available for overnight pet sitting at this time. I will do my best to accommodate.
