I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and genuinely enjoy providing the combination of exercise, enrichment, and calm companionship that helps pets feel settled while you’re away. I have particular experience with rescue dogs, including former street rescues, and with terrier breeds ranging from Airedales to Patterdales, but love pets of all shapes and sizes. I understand that some pets need a little extra patience, structure, or confidence, and I’m comfortable working with individual quirks, behavioural needs, and reinforcing existing training routines. Alongside dogs, I’m also experienced caring for cats in their own homes and am happy managing multi-pet households with different routines and personalities. My approach is always to meet each animal where they are, helping them feel safe, relaxed, and secure in their familiar environment. Whether your pet needs long walks and playtime or simply consistent, reassuring care, I aim to provide a reliable and calm presence so both you and your pets can feel completely at ease.

In your home I can provide care 24/7 with frequent toilet breaks and walks that align with your pets needs. Also happy to work on training, play or snuggle up on the sofa whatever your pet likes to do! If you are boarding your pet at mine I have a fully fenced garden and one friendly medium/small dog. We are a child free household and me and my partner live here.

Alexandra is absolutely wonderful. She is such a kind caring and well organised as a pet and house sitter. She clearly loves animals and is very knowledgeable and attentive. Alexandra sent lovely update throughout the day, followed our instructions and showered our animals in love and attention. I felt very secure knowing our pets and home were being respected and well loved.
Alex was amazing with our cat. She was happy to be patient as she’s a nervous girl but she took to her right away! We couldn’t believe how well she did with her. Felt very reassured as Alex gave us daily updates and our home was just as we’d left it too when we came back. Our cat is super calm thanks to the cat music Alex found too - would definitely recommend, thank you so much!
A repeat booking with Alex, this time for an overnight stay, and once again everything was excellent. Coley's routine was followed and we received regular updates, from which it was clear to see how comfortable and at ease Coley felt. It meant we were able to properly relax and enjoy our trip. Our house was left tidy, secure, and clearly well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Alexandra was great, showed up early, was very communicate throughout the day, and really helped set us at ease with being out of the house. We booked her last minute as our regular sitter fell through and she was very supportive and accommodating. Would recommend.
Booked on short notice and everything went super smoothly. Alex arrived on time and was really patient with Coley, who can be a bit cautious when meeting new people at first. Coley had a great day, and we received regular pupdates throughout, which gave us peace of mind (and smiles!). Alex is clearly a natural with dogs and took great care of our home during the sit, ensuring that Coley's first dog sit was a positive experience. Would definitely book again!

Schedule
I'm available for pet sitting or boarding 6 days per week all day and overnight. I'm also available for shorter walks throughout the day on weekdays and long walks on weekends.
