I’ve been caring for animals since I was 11 years old, and I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. People have called me a “pet whisperer” because I have a calm, patient way of connecting with animals and earning their trust. I’m also physically strong and confident handling large, powerful, and energetic dogs, including dogs who need firm leash control, longer walks, structure, and plenty of activity. Safety, patience, and clear communication are always my priorities. In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I carry my own premium Pet Care/Liability Insurance for your peace of mind.

I follow each client’s instructions closely and do my best to keep every pet’s routine consistent. I know every animal has their own personality and comfort level, so I take a patient, respectful approach to care. If your pet wants playtime, attention, or companionship, I’m happy to give that. If they are shy, anxious, independent, or simply prefer space, I’m just as comfortable keeping them company from a calm and safe distance. My goal is always to help your pet feel secure, respected, and well cared for.

I have used Alexander a few times over the years as a pet sitter. He could not be more reliable, dependable or conscientious on his love for animals. Originally he came over to meet my two cats, they took to him immediately. He would sit on the floor and wait for them to come to him, never rushing an accouter. While I was away he would send me up dates, pictures of the cats laying, playing with him as he came over a few times a day. I would highly recommend this amazing man and his connection to animals to whomever is in need for a pet sitter.
Alex has been a true asset to us when traveling. He is very responsible and clearly loves dogs. We have only good things to say about Alex. He always shows up on time and does everything necessary to care for our dog. Thanks Alex!
We’ve trusted Alex with our dogs for the past couple of years! He genuinely cares about them and made it a point to get to know them individually and to develop his own positive relationship with them. We are also grateful he understands and appreciates their high energy! Alex is flexible and accommodating of our chaotic schedules-- helping us out with last-minute requests and understanding when plans unexpectedly change. Additionally, he has graciously cared for a foster dog in addition to our own dogs, adjusting seamlessly and giving each dog the attention, patience, and care they needed. We feel incredibly lucky to have Alex as a partner in caring for our "boys!"
