Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up my family had German shepherds, whippets and a border Collie. I now live in Caerphilly with my fiance Rhiannon and I have 2 dogs. Freyja, who is our 4-year old Belgian Malinois x Springer Spaniel and Percy, our 3-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Bichon Frise. Both dogs were rescues from Many Tears in Llanelli and both were puppies when I got them. I work from home 3-4 days a week, I take the dogs out for a walk on my hour lunch. I am well positioned at the foot of Caerphilly mountain, I walk on lots of the trails every day so one thing I can guarantee is your dog will be well walked with me!

A huge thanks to Alex who made us as first time borders feel very relaxed. He went above and beyond to pick up Molly and sent plenty of photos and messages to keep us updated.
Alex has helped look after our two dogs on several occasions, including walking them down the aisle at our wedding! As we have an elderly dog, and one with specific health needs due to their breed, Alex is kind and compassionate towards them at all times. I would absolutely recommend Alex to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, who will make you feel relaxed and that they are in safe hands!!

Alex is the biggest dog lover ever. You can often find him out walking & throwing the ball for his dog Freyja. If he’s not out walking, he’s cuddling on the sofa with the dogs. Alex loves all animals of all sizes & treats everyone’s animals with love & respect.

A typical day
As I WFH, I like to keep my dogs busy with snuffle mats, kongs and lick mats. We go for a walk on my lunch at 1pm and generally go up the mountain to play with a ball or some tug toys.

Availability
I work from home Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I'm also free most weekends. I walk the dogs first thing in the morning and on my lunch at 1pm.
