I bring toys and treats to keep your friend mental active and engaged, while also prioritizing reading their cues to see what they’d most like to, whether that be brushing, playing, having some time for ear rubs and pets, or spending time in the same room quietly. A hobby of mine is learning about how animals tick, so I’ll often find myself researching how to read cues and make the most of my communication with animals, so I love this job because I get to make so many new friends that I get to see regularly. Alexa has been cat sitting for my sweet kitty Willie for the past couple of years and I’ve always had a stellar experience with them. Their extremely communicative, reliable, and kind. I used to feel anxious leaving my cat with friends or neighbors when I traveled, but since having them as my go-to sitter, my anxiety has decreased significantly because I know my furbaby is in good hands.
Alexa (Rex) has been helping me care for my cat for over a year now on a weekly basis. They are incredibly caring and attentive, taking care of playtime (and even bringing new toys to try!), brushing, and nail trimming. My cat is always super excited when they show up and I can tell it makes her day! Rex has also made time to watch my cat during several of my vacations, and offered very competitive daily rates for coming by for up to an hour every day to feed and keep my cat company. They even send great photos to help ease my mind and show me that my kitty is happy and healthy. I highly recommend Rex to anyone looking for an extremely caring soul and peace of mind!
