Alena is the best host I’ve met on Rover, and my dog made her first "BFF" with Alena’s pup! First, Alena has an incredible understanding of dog behavior—she knows exactly when to intervene and when to let them play. Just by observing my dog, she quickly picked up on her personality, which is so important for preventing conflicts and ensuring a positive experience. Second, her genuine love for dogs shines through in everything she does. She sent me daily photo and video updates during my trip, which always brightened my day. My dog looked so happy playing in the yard and going on hikes—it was clear she was having a blast! Lastly, Alena’s attention to detail really impressed me. When she noticed my dog walking strangely (she had pulled a muscle but recovered quickly), Alena immediately communicated with me and kept a close eye on her. She even went above and beyond by washing my dog’s sock toy, mat, and bowls—something no other Rover host has ever done for me. I couldn’t recommend Alena more highly. She truly cares about keeping dogs happy, healthy, and comfortable!
