Alec is my brother-in-law, but when it comes to my animals, family doesn't matter at all when pet-sitting. I have 4 rescue pit bulls and two rescue cats (and a fish). He has always been very loving towards my animals but also has taken whatever due care and extra caution we have asked for- for example when we brought a new rescue into the existing pack of 3 dogs/2 cats. If I cannot be home to care of my pets then Alec is always my first choice. He has grown up with cats and dogs of his own and is just an animal-lover. I have observed how he has treated his family pets and his own cat. He treats them like family- like how I treat my animals. Of course he would like to make some extra money with Rover, but I know he has chosen this over other options because he just genuinely enjoys hanging out with furry friends.
