Pet care experience
I'm attentive and intuitive when it comes to a pet's needs. I've had dogs since I was 12 and have really enjoyed the different personalities that I've encountered in my puppy sitting days. I have extended experience with terriers, border collies, and Jack Russels, but am excited to engage with bigger breeds. I really enjoy connecting with pets the way they are asking to be, whether that's more snuggly and less rowdy play times or if they like their space but just want to be able to see ya watching them and giving the occasional belly rub. I'm respectful of their space because I want them to be respectful of mine. Your well-trained pet is my cup of tea as I find animals incredibly therapeutic to be around, even if it means throwing the tennis ball 100 times!

Having a client trust me to take care of their pet in their own home is a huge sign of respect and responsibility that I do not take lightly. As someone who has had pet-sitters in the past, I know the feeling of letting someone into your private residence to take care of your furry family member can be a huge step, but I promise to give the utmost care and respect for your pet and home. When going on walks with your pet, I will be incredibly aware and attentive to my surroundings and careful to engage with others as I know each dog has their own personality and even hesitations to other animals. They will go on the best of adventures with me and we will come back tired and happy having had lots of attention to get them through their extra busy day!

It’s pertinent that I know if your dog has ever experienced anxiety around certain objects/people/places as these things can be quite triggering to them and they may react to them. If I know ahead of time that they are afraid of loud noises or even other dogs, I’ll be able to care for you pet the exact way they need to be.
A typical day
I enjoy engaging in both mental and physical activities with your dog, whether that’s reinforcing and practicing the tricks you’ve taught them or playing fetch to help burn through all that energy!
