Hello there! I’m Alana, and I’m slightly obsessed with animals. I’ve been volunteering and working in pet care for 15 years. At the moment, I have three cats and one rescue dog. I’m always excited to be greeted by my fur babies. I can’t remember a time without animals! Ironically, I’m allergic to dogs and cats but their dander hasn’t put a damper on my affection for them. I’ve volunteered for animal shelters since I was 12, and now work at a doggie day care. This has been my favorite job by far!! Interacting with animals will always give me a warm, fuzzy feeling ^_^ Regardless of whether they have fur or scales or no vertebrae, I treat my pets, and other’s as family members who deserve as much love and emotional care as they physically!
