I've been around dogs my whole life and will be delighted to keep your best friend company. So who would you be trusting your beloved four-legged buddy with? I’m a 35 year old Brazilian working full-time in marketing at “Det Norske Veritas” (this account is personal and has nothing to do with DNV, by the way). FAQ: ▪️Do you have other pets? Not here, unfortunately. When offered a position overseas, I realized my dogs Leeloo and Cido would be spending too much time on their own, and that’s not a fair deal. They now live in Brazil with my parents and have a stay-at-home mum all for themselves. ▪️ What is your experience with dogs? I come from a long lineage of dog people, and have been officially dog-sitting for the past 3 years. ▪️Do you have children in the house? Nope! ▪️What is your availability? The answer to that will depend on your dog’s need for attention and long walks/playtime. I usually work my corporate from 9 to 6 during the week. This means I need to have my attention on the computer and will only do short breaks every 3-4h. Sitting a potty-trained dog during my work hours shouldn’t be a problem, but I will not sit puppies and other dogs that require undivided attention then. On weekends and outside of work hours, all pooches are welcome! 😁 ▪️ You have a good job, why are you dog-sitting? It’s not realistic for me to have a pet at this point in my life, but I sure miss being around them. Dog-sitting sounded like a win-win situation. ▪️ Do you sit other pets? I have no significant experience with other pets.
