Availability
I am currently a college student with a part time job, and have varied availability! This summer I am available nearly every day with the exception of a few weeks in July-August. Mornings and afternoons usually are best for me, sometimes this changes and I have further availability into the evening.

A typical day
I love walking, and love walking even more when I have a furry pal with me. If you and your dog have any favorite routes and parks, please let me know! I love snuggling and petting pups and throwing a toy around. Whatever your dog likes, I'm always game and down to play with them.

Pet care experience
Since I was a child, I have been surrounded by puppy kisses and cat purrs! Friends, neighbors, and family members happily allowed me to walk their dogs and look after them while they were out of town, and my adoration for caring for animals is something I still carry with me. Growing up, I had three dogs that I cared for from puppy to senior, along with a senior cat my family adopted. In their old age, each pet had different needs, for example my pug's back legs were immobile and required assistance moving anywhere and needed medication. For me, caring for animals is caring for family, and building strong bonds. I love dogs at any age and am excited to get to know new animals through playing, hiking, and cozy nights in cuddling.

Akira looked after my dog and my two cats while I was on vacation last year and they did such a wonderful job. My dog is always so excited to see them and my cats are so comfortable around them! I trust them anytime I need to go out of town and so do my pets!

Akira is a lifesaver! My work hours have changed so I’m not able to spend as much time with my baby Luncheon. I met Akira on Rover, and I can’t lie I was a little nervous at first. To my delight, they were super responsible, experienced, and kind. I wasn’t hesitant at all to put Luncheon in their care. He’s a chihuahua mutt, and can be a lot to handle at times, but it wasn’t a problem! So happy to be a part of the Rover family, and to have Akira by my side.
