Pet care experience
I’m a big softy for animals and promise to treat yours with all the love and attention it deserves! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and know how to care for both cats and dogs. In the past, I have taken care of big dogs, medium and small. I will be sure to take your dog on energizing walks (if that’s what they need) and/or just provide them with lots of company if your animal is more of a chiller. Currently working remote so my schedule is very flexible. That being said, I’m only taking dogs that are low maintenance.

Akemi was so wonderful with my dog Timp! She was reliable and great to work with. When I came home he was happy to see me but not in a frantic way- he had clearly been well cared for! Highly recommend Akemi’s fantastic care!
Akemi was absolutely amazing with our 1 year old yorkie. She went above and beyond to ensure he is comfortable, happy, and well cared for! I loved receiving daily updates and adorable photos of Louie - he looked so content and relaxed. It was clear that Akemi gave him plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and playtime. I also appreciated her attentiveness to Louie’s specific needs and any extra care he required. Couldn’t recommend Akemi enough! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Akemi was so great with our playful puppy Ollie! She sent plenty of photos of their day together and was very flexible when we had a delay in our plans and a family member arrived in our place at the end of the session. Will definitely book Akemi again for dog-sitting!

A typical day
I’m a very active person and would love to bring your dog on my walks with me! I also love working from a coffee shop or brewery, and if they are comfortable with just chilling while I work I would love to have them with me. I typically don’t take dogs I’m watching to the dog park just to be extra cautious, but if you really insist then I would consider it!
