Woodland Walks Home from Home Care
As a family with a lifelong love for dogs, we offer a dedicated "home from home" experience by hosting only one guest dog at a time. This allows us to provide your dog with our full attention and a calm, personal environment. We have extensive experience with various breeds, from Cavachons and Cockapoos to Springer Spaniels, and we love welcoming dogs into our daily family life. Your dog is welcome to join us throughout the house during the day, including chilling out upstairs while we are there. However, to ensure a restful night for everyone, we maintain a strict downstairs-only policy for sleeping. We are best suited to dogs who are happy to settle independently in their own bed or crate in our living area once we have gone to bed. This prevents any restless nights or disruption, ensuring your dog and our family are well-rested for our next day's adventures. Our home is ideally set up for dogs, with a secure, fenced garden and a dog-washing station for after our woodland walks. We are also conveniently located near the airport, making us a great choice for boarding while you are away. We look forward to providing your dog with a safe, attentive, and fun stay.

Would highly recommend Aimee. As two anxious fur parents, we couldn't have felt more confident leaving Willow for 3 nights. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable on our first visit. She was patient and understanding with Willow and from the photos, daily updates and videos, we could see how well cared for, walked and played with he had been.

Schedule
Both my husband and I work from home, meaning your dog will enjoy constant company and a consistent routine throughout the day. Because we only host one guest at a time, we can fully dedicate our schedule to your dog’s needs, whether that’s frequent garden breaks, afternoon sofa cuddles, or long walks in the local woods. Your dog will truly be a part of our daily family life from morning until they settle down for the night.

By following your specific feeding and toilet routines, we ensure they feel secure and settled. Your dog will have full use of our comfortable living areas and a secure, fenced garden for safe outdoor play. EXERCISE AND ADVENTURES We offer varied walks through our local woods, tailored to your dog's energy levels. After a muddy outing, our dedicated dog-washing station ensures they are clean and comfortable before relaxing on the sofa for the afternoon. CONSISTENT COMPANY As we work from home, your dog will benefit from constant company and one-on-one attention. Our day is a balance of physical exercise and relaxation, ending with a quiet night’s sleep in their own bed downstairs. This structured approach ensures a happy, well-rested stay for every guest.
A typical day
To ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone, it is important for us to know about your dog's training and habits beforehand. We provide a calm, one-dog-at-a-time experience, which works best for adult dogs who are well-socialised and fully house-trained. NIGHT-TIME ROUTINE A key part of our home environment is our night-time routine. We only host dogs that are comfortable settling independently downstairs at night in their own bed or crate. We are unable to accommodate dogs that require sleeping in a bedroom or upstairs, as we find this leads to restless nights for both the dog and our family. OPEN COMMUNICATION We appreciate you being open and honest about your dog's needs and night-time habits. This allows us to provide the best possible care and ensures a wonderful, stress-free stay for your dog and our family alike.
