I have been caring for the pets for some time now and very much enjoy it. Initially I was caring for pets of family and friends, this grew through word of mouth and eventually I joined rover to do this more regularly. I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and building a bond with them. My flexible working‑from‑home role means I’m always there for pets during the day, they are not left alone and get plenty of attention, company and reassurance. I live with my partner who is also work from home meaning pets get twice as much fuss. I have always grown up with dogs, which gave me a solid foundation in everyday dog care. I particularly enjoy training pets and reinforcing good habits, and I’ve had some really positive success stories through patient, consistent training. I’m always happy to follow the routines and cues that owners already use. I’m a lover of walking and being outdoors, and caring for pets is a perfect fit for this — it gives me even more reason to get outside for regular, enjoyable walks while making sure pets are exercised, stimulated and happy.
