We love having furry visitors!

@ateamdogcare I have been using rover for 6 years now. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats who have been with the dogs since they were 3 weeks old. We live on 2 acres with a great fenced in yard. We love hosting pets and will treat them like our own. Im always home so let’s can stay on their normal schedules and have someone around while you’re gone. Feel free to message me with any questions! I also have experience with medications, including injectable ones. When your pup comes to stay with us we ask that you bring; their food, treats, favorite toys/bones, bed or blanket, crate (if you use one), bowls, and a leash. Or anything that might make your dogs stay easier! :)

i hired Aeyla to look after my pets while undergoing a major surgery at Duke. I checked her reviews and chose to overlook one that she discounted as “a nosy neighbor” who had been watching the house— I shouldn’t have, because my neighbor ended up telling me “I’m not seeing car anymore” as time moved along. Aeyla was hired after we interviewed her; and she and her friend Missy immediately made us feel at ease when they visited with our dog and cat. I was able to see her home as well where she sometimes cares for animals, I had asked her to stay overnight with the animals for several weeks as I faced spinal cord surgery three hours from home. I knew it was going to be intense and didn’t even have a return date— Aeyla was hired for an in-home boarding where she’d stay overnight with our pets. With stakes so high, I didn’t wanna make any mistakes. After the first week things seemed well and we had a lot of positivity and FaceTime. However, I was asked to begin paying by Venmo which frankly, would be a benefit, but I would lose the protection of Rover which I never considered. As I was recovering, it was brought to our attention that no car was showing up at our home like before. The next time I saw my dog’s expression in the background of a phone chat with Aeyla, I knew something was off. In fairness, I didn’t say anything. My husband just drove back to Virginia, got the dog and brought her down to live with us where I was recovering. The corporate apartment wouldn’t allow cats; so I kept paying Aeyla, hoping without the dog, maybe things would improve. All I can say is this, after a couple days, the food bowl was found left over-flowing as if to cover a many days time. It’s a good thing someone else had an emergency house key, and took over ...I wish I had acted sooner; instead of just paying bill and saying goodbye. I hope everyone else has a positive experience. This is mine.

Oona had a great time here! She came back happy. Aeyla was very reasonable about working with me about meeting times and quick to respond. She included several photos of my doggo. Oona will definitely stay again!

Aeyla sent a picture of my dogs wrapped in blankets, sitting by the fireplace before bedtime. One of them didn’t want to leave!

Appreciated daily updates, pics and videos. She kept Maddie very busy while we were away! Also appreciated that she went the extra mile in bringing in mail, helping with cats and watering plants! Highly recommend!
