Reliable, dog-obsessed caregiver
Hi, my name is Abra! I am a Colorado native and a lifelong dog lover and animal advocate. I have owned and cared for dogs all my life and have a silly Golden Retriever named Bodhi! In addition to being a lifelong dog owner and truly dog obsessed, I have professionally worked with dogs in a doggie daycare, a natural pet food store, as a dog walker, and as a pet sitter. In these varied roles, I gained invaluable experience and cared for dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also have experience with grooming, basic training, and providing mental stimulation and daily exercise! I am available to provide pet sitting at my home in Golden, where I have a large, fenced-in yard. Bonus - my house is located at the base of North Tabletop Mountain and I can provide hiking services if requested! I will care for your dog as if he or she is my own and will stop at nothing to meet you and your pup's specific needs. 30-45 minute easy hike/walk on North Table Mountain - additional $20/per request/per dog. If requesting boarding on Fridays, I am usually available at 4pm to begin services. Dog walking service - Please tell me prior to booking if you prefer that my dog, Bodhi, not join. She is comfortable and good with all dogs that are comfortable with her!

Abra was fantastic with our pup! Her communication was clear, timely, and very reassuring throughout the entire stay. She took the time to listen to our concerns, and it was obvious she truly cared about making sure he felt safe and comfortable. She provided great updates that helped us feel at ease while we were away, and we came back to a happy, relaxed pup. Abra is kind, responsible, and clearly has a heart for animals. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Abra provided wonderful care for Jake. He and Bodhi hit it off and are best buds. Excellent service, excellent communication, and a big wonderful back yard for chasing balls. Everything was perfect!

I have a full-time job, but the hours vary, and I spend most, if not all of my free time at home with my own pup.

Safety, trust & environment
As stated above, I have a very large, fenced-in yard to allow for maximum exercise, play space, and room to roam. Additionally, with the proximity of my house to hiking trails, I am happy to provide additional services upon request. I understand that each dog has unique needs and I am more than happy to consider and accommodate any specific requests.
Pets
A typical day
I see every dog that stays with me as a part of my family! I love to pamper my guests with the individual attention they deserve. We will play games like "find the treat", fetch, and tug! My fenced-in yard allows for space to explore and enjoy the Colorado weather! What's more, they have access to the yard 24/7 with the doggie door! My years of experience with dogs of many personalities as equipped me to identify activities that your dog will not only enjoy, but that will also enrich their stay!
