Hello, my name is Abigail. I have been working in pet care for over 8 years. I started as a vet assistant, then a doggy daycare counselor/boarding kennel associate, and I have found my niche in pet grooming (since 2018). I am well versed in complicated feeding routines, giving medicine, understanding body language, basic training, spotting medical symptoms, and giving adequate exercise. I have ample experience working with older dogs, puppies, and dogs with a little temper! I also have experience with cats, having always had two in the house when I was growing up. Upon request I can give your dog a groom, bath, or even just a nail trim! I hope you will consider me to take care of your cherished pets, I’d love to meet them!

Abigail provided such a safe, loving environment for me two large dogs. She KNOWS dogs and it was very comforting to be able to trust that she knew how to handle them. We even splurged to have them groomed by her and they were squeaky clean upon picking them up! I received many updates and my dogs were very happy with their stay. Diesel and Clover give her 5 Wags!
Abigail was wonderful with our 2 rowdy boys, they came home happy and well loved. Will absolutely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone!

Abigail takes great care of the dogs she boards very well! Updates were consistent and I was never worried about Ms. Hero while she was there’s. We did have a specialized feeding schedule and she worked with us to achieve it, which was awesome! Thank you Abigail (and Nathan!)

Your pets will have the run of our home, we have no pets or kids! Your pet will need to be leashed outside as our yard is only partially fenced. I have 25’ leashes so they can have a little freedom when we go out in the yard! Crate trained pets are our preference (for boarding) as I need to keep them away from the houseplants when we are running errands, however we do also have a baby gated area for this purpose!

I love all animals but I have a massive soft spot for standard poodles and hairless dogs (Nathan’s favorite breeds have to be Italian Greyhounds and Labrador Retrievers)! Please let us know if your pet has any behavioral triggers ahead of time, we can only accommodate what you let us know about!
A typical day
If you want us to do it, we will! If your dog loves water we will play with the sprinkler, if your dog loves to work we can do training sessions, and if your dog is a couch potato we can cuddle on the couch all day! Just let us know how to make your dog happy as possible!

Availability
I commute 3 days a week (2 days a week as of September 2024) to groom dogs at a shop I really love! Pets will only be alone for up to 8 hours, once a week on Tuesdays. Other than that there is always someone home! I groom from home on occasion and also offer those services for my Rover clients, Bark and File is where you can find more information on services offered! Please feel free to ask for a personalized quote! My Rover bookings and grooming clients never meet, I have a grooming studio separate from the house and am able to groom while my boarding dog(s) can nap in peace!
