Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since my earliest memories! We always had half a dozen adult dogs in the house, and puppies to raise in my childhood. As an adult, I worked in grooming and boarding for 5 years, and since I was 20 I have had fosters and worked with rescues! I currently have 3 rescues of my own, 2 seniors who I have had for 12 years, and an angel mini aussie I have had for 4. I have experience in every sort of situation, difficult or not! I believe every dog is unique and that it's our responsibility to learn their individual languages- I take pride in being able to do so!

Abbey is not only a kind, reliable, mindful, and generous human but she is also a true animal whisperer! She is knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to dogs and cats (maybe others too but that’s what I have) and I go to her with questions I have when I can’t call my vet. I can’t recommend Abbey enough. Her dog, Bella, is also gets along well with everyone :)
Abigail is one of the best pet caregivers you can ask for. She has watched all of my animals countless times and provided an exceptional amount of love and care. She is a true animal person. The simple things from a text message with a photos of my animals when I'm out of town, to the concern and attention to detail with my animals eating habits and alerting me of any variations from their normal day to day routines. I've never had a better caregiver for my animals(cat and dog). I would highly recommend Abigail as your next pet sitter!
Having experience in transporting dogs, as well as being an owner of three wonderful dogs herself, Abigail is fully experienced and educated on how to meet a wide variety of dogs' needs through and through. Her love for these animals is directly translated into just how well cared for any dog under her supervision is. It would be a missed opportunity on anyone to not have Abigail as their dog sitter.

I have a fenced yard, and 3 very friendly and docile dogs! If your dog is social, I'm happy to host them in my home, but I'm just as happy to host in yours. I live with a partner who takes care of ours if I'm not home, though I like to have my mini Aussie in tow everywhere I go when it's a good fit- she is great with all dogs and good therapy even for most anti social ones! In my home we stick to a feeding and medication schedule, and at least 2 walks a day-- so it will be easy to adjust to whatever your fur babies needs and routines are! The more details, the better-- I want your pups to be just as comfortable as they are when you're around.

I believe that dogs (and cats) are creatures of habit, and comforted by routine. Most like a little adventure too! But with the reassurance that home is still there when they're done-- it's important to me that I know what their routine is when you're home, so they can be as comfortable as if you were there!
A typical day
Every pup is different! But it's always my goal to figure out their love language, whether that's belly rubs, snuggling, fetch or tug of war... Any day that I can make a dog happy is a day well spent!

Availability
I currently work part time, for a few hours Monday to Friday evenings. I am a full time student, but all of my classes are currently online so my schedule is very open and flexible!
