Pet care experience
I have lived with cats my entire life and have always had deep love for them. I now have a cat of my own, and he is the most important thing in the world to me. I have done extensive research to be the best cat owner I could be, and I understand that each cat is different and needs to be treated as such -with care, love, and patience. I also have recently started volunteering at Happy Endings No Kill Cat Shelter, and I absolutely love it. Helping and caring for cats genuinely brings me joy and is a big part of my life.

We feel so lucky to have booked with Abby!!! Our cat, Mateo, recently lost his big kitty sister. Our recent mini vacation was the first time since we said goodbye to our other cat that he was going to be alone. Abby and partner Grayson were both so wonderful with Mateo. I felt such peace leaving him under their care. They took extra care for Mateo’s feeding while we navigated trying new wet and dry food for him. We received daily updates and photos. And the photos were so cute! I can tell our cat really loved them both. They also watered our plants and made sure the litter box was clean and tidy. I can’t recommend Abby enough! I will definitely book again. Thank you, Abby and Grayson!!

This can look different for each cat, of course, so I make sure to cater to their specific needs/ personality. This could include (but it’s not limited to): feeding, watering, changing litter boxes frequently, playing, brushing, clipping claws, etc.

A typical day
I don’t currently accept clients with dogs; I’m only accepting cats. Like I’ve mentioned before, cats need lots of attention/ play-time too! And I will interact with your cat(s) in whatever way that best fits their individual personalities.

I work full-time downtown, and my shift times vary. That being said, I would certainly be able to make drop in visits once a day, and what time I would be available is on a case-by-case basis. Of course, I would discuss that will you fully/make adjustments before accepting.
