Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog lover with extensive experience, and have been using Rover for a couple of years! Having had dogs since the age of eight, I have experience walking and looking after dogs of all sizes and ages, but especially have experience in large dogs as I walked our giant breed Old English Sheepdog daily for two years. I frequently dogsit and walk him now when my family go away. He was a very large and demanding puppy so I have experience with that, and prior to this I looked after our senior dog and have walked a number of different dogs through Rover. Additionally I am a big cat lover. I have looked after relatives’ cats and have been doing drop ins for cats through Rover. I live in the city centre and also drive, happy to take bookings anywhere within a reasonable distance! Please note that right now I cannot accommodate regular walks/drop ins, but I can look to fit in one offs.

Abbie is brilliant 😁 she takes excellent care of Zhanshi, walks him in the shade when it's hot, checked his water as well. Zhanshi took to Abbie straight away 😁. I know when I'm in the office Zhanshi is in excellent care in his walk. Also Abbie's communication I get lovely reports of how Zhanshi was on his walk. Abbie gives plenty of notice of any days she can't do e.g. holidays. I'm really happy she took Zhanshi on for his regular walks, thank you Abbie from Alice & Zhanshi 😁🐶🐾
Abbie communicated really well and was very happy to take Macey for a walk. She seemed super knowledgeable about dogs and dog walking and wasn't fazed in the slightest when we mentioned that Macey doesn't always get on with other dogs. Macey seemed to enjoy her walk ☺️ Would definitely recommend!

Due to living in a rented flat with a no pets policy I am unable to take any dogs in at my home, but I am more than happy to drop in or dog sit at yours, as well as walk in your area or drive to somewhere more scenic or better suited.

A typical day
Happy to accommodate any requests that you have for your dog (e.g. particular games they like to play) to ensure they are properly exercised and mentally stimulated. For example, my current family dog absolutely loves fetch, but our old family dog didn’t respond to it. I understand every dog is different and has different needs and wants!

Availability
For drop ins and walks, primarily my availability is in the morning before 9am, lunch time and in the evening, but I work from home so can be quite flexible depending on meetings. Please just message with any enquiries as I will always try to accommodate whatever you’d like. For dogsitting in your home I have varying weekend availability and I’m happy to do overnight or for a specified period throughout the day, and can also do weekdays if I can work from your home.
