Hello! I'm Kay (she/her), and I’ve been living in Glasgow’s lovely southside for nearly a decade with my partner and, until recently, our two beloved rescue cats. I split my week between working from home as a business coordinator for a small, female-owned finance company up in Inverness, and supporting local families with childcare and household support. So yes, I’m trusted with both money and children (ha!), even if I’ve clearly ignored the age-old advice about working with kids or animals… In 2024, we sadly lost both our cats - Essie, after a short battle with cancer, and Walter, after a longer fight with kidney disease. It's the first time in nearly 20 years that we’ve had no small, furry creatures running the household, and I miss it tremendously. While it still feels a wee bit too soon to adopt again, I’ve decided to put my experience, spare time, and love for animals to good use by signing up for both pet fostering and cat sitting. I’m confident caring for cats and kittens of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Based in Govanhill, I’m happy to travel across the southside and would also consider boarding cats (one at a time or a bonded pair) in our home for short stays. I’m a member of the PVG scheme and will happily share my disclosure.

A message everyday pics and videos … finding treats and treat balls for enrichment and lovely to boot. First time I tried cat in a flat and Kay has made sure it won’t be the last …. Such a reassuring experience… and the cats are *sooo* happy …..would recommend Kay 5/5 everytime!
Kay is a lovely cat sitter and have now used her a few times as I know I can always count on her looking after my fur baby! She always provides a daily update and photos and is so gentle with my cat. Highly recommend!
Kay is an absolutely wonderful cat sitter for Mitsy! From the first time, she kept me at ease with regular updates, so I always knew Mitsy was happy and well cared for. Kay is my go-to sitter whenever I’m out of town, and Mitsy is very comfortable with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter!
Came home to the happiest and relaxed kitty. Regular daily updates and just thoughtful communication throughout. Thank You for taking of him and his environment so well over the festive period and hope you have a happy Hogmanay
