“I will start by saying i have been a rover sitter myself for YEARS and i am very picky about who my dogs watch. Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well. I would be more than willing to reccomend people to Rich and his family, amd when we are here visiting our family i know there is a good trusting sitter for my boy if needed.”

I have a pretty nice sized back yard that is fenced in all around and gated always so dogs can not get out. I have a few dog beds so you can bring your own or be comfortable using one of mine.

About: With over 25 years of experience in owning and caring for a variety of animals, from horses, & goats, to dogs, cats, rabbits and all our feathered friends. I offer a comprehensive and skilled approach to pet care. My expertise includes managing high-need and senior animals. I stick to your pets' schedule and any veterinary instructions closely. I'm experienced at handling both feral and tame cats, and I have significant experience traveling with pets. Lastly, my deep understanding and love for animals began with my childhood admiration for Dr. Doolittle. This extensive background makes me a reliable and compassionate choice for pet owners seeking the highest level of care for their beloved pet family members. If you have many animals or questions on pricing, shoot me a message and I’ll give you an estimate. :) I currently teach online from home. My children are young adults and my schedule is flexible. I have reliable transportation and enjoy caring for pets. (We have indoor outdoor cats, so dogs that board with us need to be comfortable around cats and not chase them.) When caring for pets, I always prioritize their comfort. This approach helps maintain their regular routines and reduces any stress associated with new environments. In our home, we have a room dedicated to pets that stay with us. The room has a large door for dogs to go into the backyard whenever they please. The backyard is fully fenced. (Please let me know if you have an escape artist so that I can be more vigilant about when he or she is in the backyard.) They also have run of the downstairs where I work during the day and we eat and hang out in the evenings. The dogs will sleep in their room in our house, I will close the dog door at night to keep them inside from 10 PM until 7 AM. For pets that require extra interaction, I am flexible and can work from your home to ensure they receive the attention and care they need throughout the day. This personalized care setup helps ensure that your pet remains happy and comfortable in their familiar surroundings. Typically I arrive at 7 PM, take care of evening feedings, some play time, water and chores. Please provide a room for me to sleep in. I don’t require any cooking or food. I will have the animals sleep in their normal beds, etc. We usually get up about 7 AM at that time we do morning feedings and whatever other tasks need to be done. I typically depart at 8 AM. If your dogs need a potty break in the middle of the day, please book an additional drop in at about 1 or 2 PM. Please provide written instructions for your pets’ feedings, medication’s, and any other information I may need.

“Maddie was so great with my pup Timber! She provided updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day and accommodated his food sensitivities. He was a properly tired out and happy pup when we picked him back up! She also accommodated a weird drop of time! She’s definitely the best! We will be using Maddie in the future for both of our doggos!!”

About: Kyara- I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—and caring for them has always been second nature to me. My passion for their well-being runs deep, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of owning and supporting animals with a wide range of health conditions and special needs. Whether it’s routine care or an unexpected emergency, I approach every situation with calm, confidence, and compassion. Vet visits and urgent calls don’t shake me—they motivate me to show up fully for the animals that depend on me. Jon- I’ve been an animal and true dog lover my entire life. I’ve loved training all the dogs I’ve ever owned and have now worked with our GSPs for bird training. We may have 3 dogs of our own, but any and all dogs fit right in here with them! They are respectful of others who don’t want to play, yet playful with those who do and they will match their energy 🐶 Currently I am working from home as our business’ social media manager and working towards my real estate license, so my availability is very flexible. We have two German Shorthaired Pointers and one Mini Aussie/Corgi mix, a large fenced yard, and a park down the road. If you’d like us to take them on our adventures (ie hikes, lakes, etc), we can also discuss that!

Kyara & Jonathan F.
“Kyara and Jonathan are awesome! I have a high energy breed so it’s tough to find someone to handle her. They sent so many photos and videos of her living her best life! They kept me well informed of how Luna was doing with their dogs, eating and drinking habits, and making sure she was doing good while I was gone. Luna came home completely exhausted from playing with their dogs for five days. The only way to tire out a GSP is to run them with other GSP’s! I’ll definitely be using them in the future for any time I need to board Luna. I highly recommend them!”
