“Very happy with Kaye. I told her there will be separation anxiety and I’m not talking about my dog. Kaye was extremely respectful of that and took several pictures reassuring me that my little guy was doing fine. Kaye took extra care to watch my boy and followed my instructions to a tee. I will have Kaye watch my dog again in the near future!”

“Gabrielle was so great with our dog. She was very communicative and calm and friendly. We would definitely book with her again if we’re in the area.”

About: I have experience from puppies to senior dogs — we are big dog people. I’ve also taken care of friends’ and family members’ dogs as their go to for boarding for both short and extended periods of time. I have experience administering medications. My husband and I both work from home, so someone is always home (two for the price of one!). We have a 2 year old husky beagle mutt mix who is friendly and loves other dogs. A meet and greet will be requested for first timers to make sure our dogs get along. We take lots of pictures and videos whenever we have a guest dog, so there will be no shortage of footage of your fur baby when you’re away! I highly value an open line of communication. We’re excited to meet you! My husband and I both work from home, so someone is almost always home. We take our dog on a walk in the morning, play with her, then feed her breakfast. After work (~5pm), we take our dog on an evening walk, have play time, and then feed her dinner. We then take one more potty break before bed. Pet care fits swimmingly into our routine because of our flexible schedules. We care for pets like we would care for children. We love all the cuddles and belly rubs! We make sure our dogs have enrichment, walks, play, socialization, and rest. In a client’s home, I’m a no trace camper — leave it like you first arrived!

“Kay did a great job taking care of Fletcher! He was all worn out from playing and running around the yard. She sent me plenty of pictures and updates. Would not hesitate to book with her again.”

“Florencia and her family took great care of Max! Appreciated the frequent updates. We'd definitely use her again when we're in the area!”

“Misty was so easy to coordinate with and I trusted her completely with Tootsie. She sent us updates and pictures. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Sara did such a great job! Sent multiple updates throughout the day and gave Manu a ton of play time and attention. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a sitter!”

“Kalia took excellent care of Chef for two days in a row while I was at an event. Chef had a wonderful time at Kalia’s playing with her pups and was absolutely exhausted and happy when returning home each day. I will gladly reach out to Kalia again next time I’m in Ojai! Thanks Kalia -”

“This was my pups’ first daycare experience that wasn’t a family member and they had the best time!! I was kept regularly updated about how they were doing with pics and they both looked so happy! I took them on a short walk when we got home and they’ve been sound asleep after a day full of play! Will definitely send them back!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My family had three dogs a Newfoundland (185 lbs), an Australian shepherd, and an American Eskimo. The Aussie and Newfoundland passed last year, but we raised and trained all three from puppies, so I am comfortable handling puppies and seniors, big and small. I like to live a very active lifestyle so I’m happy to and capable of caring for high energy dogs. I’ve always been the dependable animal lover in my family, and I love to spend some time with your furry friend! I work part time Monday through Wednesday as an intern at an architecture firm, but my schedule is completely open Thursday through Sunday. Thursday and the weekend I can be home or out and about caring for your pet’s needs. I have a nice fenced yard with a small lawn and beach access in my neighborhood for pet exercise. There are no other animals on the property to worry about. I am also willing to take care of pets in their own homes especially if they aren’t particularly social or don’t like big changes.

“Renee is a wonderful dog sitter! Bowie felt right at home with her and he was so happy when we picked him up. I will definitely recommend Renne to anyone who needs a sitter.”

About: I am trained in behavioral therapy (mental health professional) and petsit frequently. I am very familiar with animals that struggle with anxiety, special needs, and are elderly. Absolutely adore the young pups and kittens too! Your pet will get plenty of exercise and be in a super safe environment when you are away. I have an extra crate at my home for your pet, if needed for your pets comfort. I work from home doing Telehealth and am able to take breaks as needed throughout the day. Most weekends we are home in the backyard enjoying the sunshine or getting out to local doggy hotspots. The neighborhood I live in is very safe and a very relaxing place to take the dog out for walks. There is a dog park across the street as well at a fenced in elementary school which is fun for dog socializing. I have a very sweet/shy: boxer (3yo) and a Nebelung cat (4yo) that live with me. The dog is crate trained. They get along great with one another and other pets. We have space to add a small to medium dog with a friendly disposition to come play during daycare and even board with us. I am flexible to come to your home to help out as well if this would be your preference.

“Cheryl was a sensitive, caring dog sitter for our very anxious Bichon named Layla, who has suffered from separation anxiety when we go away. This time with Cheryl taking care of her for 12 hours on thanksgiving, Layla was relaxed and happy while we were gone. Cheryl sent photos of Layla relaxing peacefully in her arms. After we took her home, Layla didn't act up at all. She quietly settled back into her normal routine and slept through the night without any fussing! Great job, Cheryl! Also we had to make a change in when we planned to leave and Cheryl didn't mind accommodating that last-minute change. We plan to use Cheryl again when we need a pet sitter. I recently recommended her to my friend who needed a dog sitter for her doggie.”

About: I have sitted for family, friends, and neighbors actively as well as caring for a German Shepard and husky over the last 4 years. I love animals, prioritize play time and active sitting, and of course cuddles and lots of love. I work remotely so have a very open and flexible schedule. I am up early and often times work late as well so can work overnight care, day care, and boarding. I wake up and let doggos out for bathroom breaks, take all for walks and outside play, feed them breakfast, and play with them. I have a backyard so there is outside space and I live near many trails and beaches for outside exercise.

“I think my dad would be perfect for Rover! He’s watched so many pets, including our old dog Shadow and his friends' dogs like pit bulls and German Shepherds. He’s really good with them and always takes his time on dog walks. He’s super professional too because he used to have an aggressive pit bull. Dogs just love him, and he really enjoys dog watching. Plus, we have a big backyard for the dogs to play in. I think he would be an awesome addition to Rover!”
