About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, cats, dogs, and the occasional “I found this outside, can I keep it?” surprise rescue. For the last 11 years, I’ve taken care of my own pets, and friends and family have trusted me to walk, bathe, check in on, and care for theirs during vacations and long trips. I’ve fostered multiple strays and out of those strays, I have adopted one dog and a two cats, which has taught me patience, gentleness, and how to work with animals who need a little extra understanding. Right now I share my home with the two former stray cats who are fully spoiled and deeply loved. I’d be happy to give your pets the same level of care, attention, and comfort while you’re away. I work full-time seasonally, which means when I’m home, I’m really home. I’m here for a few months at a time with very open availability, and I love filling that time in meaningful ways, like caring for pets. Because I’m not juggling a packed schedule right now, I’m able to give consistent, unrushed attention to every pet I visit. Gentle, patient, and experienced with animals of every temperament, I make sure your pet’s routine stays smooth and stress free while you’re away. When I’m caring for pets in your home, my focus is keeping their routine stable, comfortable, and low stress. I will be sure to follow your instructions closely. Feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, litter or potty routines, and any quirks or comfort habits they have. I will adjust to each pet’s personality and energy level: calm companionship for shy or anxious animals, enrichment and play for the energetic ones, and steady, consistent care for older or more independent pets. I always make sure they have fresh water, clean spaces, and a safe, comfortable environment before I leave. You’ll get updates and photos each visit so you know exactly how your pets are doing. My goal is simple: keep them happy, cared for, and feeling secure until you’re home again.

“We are SO grateful for Jaxton! He watched our two boys the week of Thanksgiving while we were out of town, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He sent us updates and photos every day, and even brushed our dogs with the shedding tool we left in their bag—without us ever asking. He took such thoughtful care of our home and treated our pups like they were his own. If you’re looking for someone to trust with your pets and your home, Jaxton is the one. We cannot recommend him enough. Thank you, Jaxton! We appreciate you so much!”

“Lacy was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I went on an 11 day trip to Europe and I was incredibly anxious leaving our fur baby, Leroy, due to his considerable health issues and his age. Lacy took excellent care of Leroy, keeping up with his medication and providing multiple updates which helped ease my mind tremendously! We came home to a very clean house and a happy, healthy boy. We can’t thank Lacy enough and would highly recommend her!”

Medical Center pet parents share their Rover experiences
Cannot recommend Farah enough! My baby got sick while I was out of state. Farah watched him so closely, sent frequent updates, and even took him to the vet (not an easy task for my dog!) when we decided it was time. It turns out he was a very sick boy. Im so grateful to have had her here with him!

Sara was great with our two big (and sometimes rowdy) dogs. They loved her and she was patient with their overzealous affection. She was great with communication, so we felt comfortable knowing she was here with the dogs most of the time and that everything was going well. We plan to use her again for housesitting needs.

Mary Margaret is the best! Our dogs love her and are so content when we get home after being with her. She took our dogs on a walk, helped water our plants and gave us daily updates. It’s so great to have peace of mind when she’s watching our pups. Can’t recommend her enough!

April was AMAZING! Always responsive and on time with every request/appointment. Our pup is an older hard of hearing stray and April was very patient with him and they became good friends quickly into the house sit! Our house was left is perfect condition, our Nizmo was happy and we would definitely love to have April watch our home and pups again!

Sidney was fantastic! She sent us lots of photos and updates of our 2 dogs. They loved her from the moment they met her. Our dogs are active and Sidney played and cared for them so sweetly. And, showed concern and care for our dog who has anxiety during storms.

Catherine was amazing. As a fellow Rover sitter I’m always picky about my sitters. But I loved her. She sent me updates and photos of the dogs during her entire stay. And even with their “special” personalities I could tell they had a great time and she listened to all instructions. Can’t wait to have her stay with my babies again! I was
We just moved to AR and we needed a new pet sitter and I am SO glad I found Rosemary! She came and stayed at our apartment with our Nala girl. This was our first time leaving Nala with a sitter since she went blind and Rosemary took such great care of her. She sent 2 updates a day with pictures and we looked forward to them every day. We will definitely be using her next time we need a sitter!!
