Not only did she show up as promised, but she immediately connected with our dog, treating him with genuine warmth and affection. While we were away, Heather cared for our pup as if he were her own—providing regular updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear he was in loving and capable hands. “Hannah was great with my 5 dogs! They are my babies and she treated them as such. She was in constant communication so I knew not to worry as this is the first time they have ever not been with a family member when I was gone (and 3 of them are 12 year old male dogs)! Will definitely be using Hannah again!”

“Tara was very quick to respond and help us work out every detail for our first trip away from our 11 month old puppy, Bella. Tara’s daughter Emily had taken care of her on several occasions before, but we were still worried about our first longer trip away as she is very attached to us. Emily was extremely thoughtful about that, sending pictures and updates several times a day to put our minds at ease. She stayed in our home with Bella and not only took great care of her, following every detail of the lengthy list of care instructions I had provided, but also took great care of our home. Bella was in great spirits when we returned and our home was so neat and clean you would never have known anyone had been there while we were gone. I am so grateful for the very thoughtful care and professionalism from Tara and Emily and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for trustworthy, reliable, genuine care for their furry family members!”

“Charlie is a wonderful pet and home caretaker. Charlie took care of our cat, dog, garden, and home for 8 days. He took care of our pets in our home and watered our patio plants and gardens. Charlie loves animals and is responsible and resourceful, a “can do” person😊! Our animals can be a handful and Charlie was unbothered and so easy going, the best pet caretaker we’ve ever hired!. We’re so happy to have Charlie take care of our pets we’ll be requesting him again for sure 👍👍🙏”

“Our dogs had a great stay with Stacey! She took wonderful care of our two dogs, including one who has epilepsy and requires medication twice a day. About: Lifelong animal lover! Growing up surrounded by pets, I've always felt a deep connection with animals. I'm a proud pet parent to one playful puppy and three adorable cats. Caring for animals is my passion, and I'm excited to bring that love to every pet I meet through Rover! I'm free to care for your pets on weekdays, especially since I'm currently unemployed for the last month of summer before college starts in late August. Treating your pet like my own! Playing and giving lots of love to your animal. As well as taking care of them, however is needed.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life! I’ve cared for dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs. I currently live with two dogs I’ve helped raise since they were pups, and I also have experience with cats, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, fish, and even bees! I’m comfortable with a wide range of pet personalities and needs, and I treat every animal like my own—with patience, kindness, and consistency. I’ve also taken care of plants and handled basic home upkeep, so I’m happy to help keep things running smoothly while you’re away. Whether it’s giving your senior dog extra care or making sure your puppy gets their energy out, I’m here to help and give you peace of mind. I work but have a flexible schedule, which allows me to fit pet care into my routine easily. I’m available most mornings and evenings, and can adjust my day to make sure your pets get the attention and care they need when it matters most. Weekends are often open as well, and I’m happy to work with your schedule! I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care. I do everything I can to make your pet feel safe, loved, and at ease in their environment. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I stick to their routine, keep their space clean, and always make time for play, walks, or just quiet company—whatever makes them happiest. I also respect your home like it’s my own and believe in clear communication so you always know your pet is in good hands. My goal is for your pets to feel comfortable and for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: Hi, I'm restarting my animal care business. I want to ensure a stimulated experience with a swift pace and consistent disciplined walking style of what I like to refer to as "nose to toes," where the dogs stay no further than my toe, to my sides, or behind me. I also have experience with aggressive dog behavior, so if a single walk is necessary, I can do that. I have been in the animal care business for as long as I can remember, and I know Fairlington very well since I grew up here. I now live in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. I will be able to track my walks with a phone app that will track your dog's walking pace, distance traveled, and the route we take. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.

“Day was truly a blessing! She took such great care of my senior dog Zeus and my home while I was away. I appreciated her communication and all of the photos she sent. So grateful I found her!”

“Adrienne did a wonderful job for me. I paid her a little extra to take care of all my plants and some things around my house; she did a great job with those also. Good to know I can go on vacation now that I have a kitty :)”

We can’t recommend Ramandeep enough! She did an incredible job house sitting and taking care of our three dogs for a week. Two of our dogs require daily medication, and she handled it flawlessly. She made sure they were never left alone long, which gave us such peace of mind. Throughout the week, she kept us updated with pictures and videos, so we always knew how they were doing. After several disappointing experiences with other dog sitters, Ramandeep was a breath of fresh air. Our dogs were happy and very well-cared for. We’re so grateful to have found someone so dependable and loving with our pets! Now please ignore all these nice things I said about her because we want to keep her for ourselves 🤣🥰
