About: I have always had pets in my life. When I was growing up, we would often adopt dogs and cats needing a loving home into our family! I also grew up sharing my home with adopted rabbits, birds, hamsters, and fish. I am a 20 year veteran teacher and would love to spend some of my summer time helping you take care of your fur babies. I'm coming to the end of my school year and have late afternoons into evenings free during the week, as well as full availability on Saturdays and Sundays. I can do earlier mornings during the week if needed, but only for drop ins for morning feedings. I have a senior dog and cat in my home, so I will only be offering services at client's homes. My services include walking your dog, playing catch, lap time with kitty cats, belly rubs and more! Although you will see photos of my family with our pets in my profile, I will be taking care of your pet(s) without any assistance from others, and would be the only one coming to your home to visit or stay with your pet.

Growing up, I spent years volunteering at a local animal shelter, where I learned how to work with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. More recently, I cared for my own senior dog, Oatmeal, through his cancer journey, which taught me even more about patience, compassion, and the importance of making every dog feel safe and loved. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them that way. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'll make sure they receive personalized attention and care while you're away. As mentioned above, I have personal experience with dogs with medical needs. This includes dogs with amputated limbs or dogs that have a strict schedule for medicine. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I’m available to watch dogs for weekends or extended weekends! We have no pets in the home and are able to watch multiple dogs at a time. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space for your dogs to run! With easy access to walking trails, I am happy to take your dogs for walks during the day to try to stick to their normal routine. I also have dog beds, toys, and food and water bowls available to use.

About: I’ve had animals in my home for decades. My daughters are vet techs and experts in the field. We believe in rescuing animals of all kinds and love to snuggle our furry friends. Our animals now live with our adult children and we know the challenge of ensuring animals are well cared for during the workday or while traveling. I currently work remotely and have flexibility in my schedule. Pets will have frequent potty breaks and a large, fenced yard for supervised exercise and enrichment during the day. I have a large, fenced yard for dogs to run free and in ground pool with beach entry landing for dogs to cool off in the heat. I always supervise pets when in the backyard to ensure pool safety. It’s important to me that animals are protected and well cared for.
