About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have been passionate about animals my entire life. Growing up with both dogs and cats, and currently owning four dogs of my own, I’ve developed a strong understanding of different personalities, routines, and care needs. I currently work at a local dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My experience includes supervising group play, feeding, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or requires extra attention, I’m confident in providing safe, compassionate care! I’m also an experienced cat caregiver and understand that every cat has a unique personality. From social and affectionate cats to more independent or timid ones, I take the time to help each pet feel comfortable and secure I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to pursue a pre-veterinary track. My goal is to build a lifelong career working with animals, and I genuinely love every opportunity to care for them. My boyfriend, Cameron, accompanies me during pet-sitting visits. I currently work Tuesday through Friday, which means I have full availability on weekends and Mondays. On workdays, I’m available before work, during breaks, and after 6:00 PM. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m happy to be flexible whenever possible to meet your pet’s needs. when I’m in a client’s home I just try to keep everything as normal as possible for the pet. I follow their usual routine, feeding schedule, walks, and whatever else they need. I give them lots of attention and make sure they’re comfortable while you’re gone. I’m also used to giving meds if needed. I treat their home with respect and their pets like my own.

About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.

About: I've had dogs my entirely life and I can confidently say they are my favorite animal. Throughout my life I have been heavily involved with different types of animal care, such as volunteering at the humane society and pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience taking care of dogs with various illnesses, and I have also cared for and had puppies. My favorite part about pet care is being able to spend time with and bond with a variety of animals and make them feel as safe and secure as possible while their owners are away. I currently work remotely with other occasional gig jobs, so being stuck at a 9-5 will not get in the way of any pet care services. Meeting your pets where they are is very important to me. About: I took Care of my own dog until he was 16 year old I've also taken care of bunnies and now I'm taking care of a puppy which I got at 8 months old i also have work between 11:00am - 4:00pm Work at 11:00 am - 4:00pm so I'll have plenty of time for taking care of pets except for Sunday I have church that I need to go to I feed my dog in the 3 times a day and take her on walks were have a fenced in yard so we have a doggy door so the can go outside on their own but I make sure they get outside at least every 2 hours if there is no door

Having the medical background I do, watching elderly/ health conscious pets is something I love doing! I’m familiar with nearly every specific medical treatment from mega esophagus, to cushings, to diabetes and more! Not to mention, if anything in the event goes wrong or something health wise happens to your pet. I have 24hr 365 days a year access to an animal hospital & many er veterinarians.

About: I grew up taking care of puppies and rescues with my mom, and then moved into helping at a shelter while I was in college. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours. I'm happy to work with dogs of all ages and sizes and follow direction well if you are working with any training techniques. I have a soft spot for older dogs in particular and am also happy to look after any plants. I currently attend KU as a grad student where I teach two days a week and am focused on finishing my thesis this semester. I have a fairly flexible schedule and so can maintain a consistent routine for most pets while you’re gone. I’ve traveled a lot and been fortunate to be a guest in many people’s home. I pride myself on being respectful and leaving a house at least as good as I found it. I also try to prioritize pet comfort since I'm a guest in their home too. I try to let them lead interactions so they have a chance to warm up on their own level. I'm also happy to respect household rules and uphold the boundaries the pets are used to (ie., if they're not allowed on certain furniture). If you have any plants that need care while you're away, I love leaning into my green thumb too.

I have been around them my whole life and wouldn't want it any other way. I come from a large, mostly rural dwelling family, my grandma had 11 kids 2/3 of which have at least 1 or more dog(s) including my mom. I've always had my own and/or lived with roommates/friends/family, that have/had dog(s) in every house I've lived from day 1 to the present. Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. In short, if either by choice or necessity you find yourself in need of a caretaker for your 4-legged (or more) companion(s), know that I would be elated for the opportunity and you can be assured that their health and well-being will invariably be at the forefront of my mind in all that I do while they're in my care. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats most of my life! Friends and family rely on me for great pet sitting, cuddles, tons of playtime! I’m free for most of the summer besides helping out at my grandmas office or running errands when asked! Taking adventures with my own pup most of the time! In my home I have a cat and a German shepherd puppy! They typically eat at 5 am, go outside after 20-30 minutes after meal time. I will cuddle with both of them on the couch and play fetch with my pup until I do daily activities such as cleaning, etc. I take breaks to let my pup outside and take her on a walk if it’s a decent temperature outside. I also help take care of my grandmas pups as well, bunch of cuddly pups it’s like a dream come true. I work commands with my pup often throughout the day, walking around with a treat bag. I always check for ticks on each dog after they’ve been outside it’s summer! They like to come out more often now. I will always ask of a pets diet regimen, such as their foods, allergies, favorite treats, if they have sensitive stomachs, or if they are fully vaccinated! I also have a car that has pet covers on the seat because of my fur baby who loves car rides. I will ask what your pets schedule looks like such as feeding times, and bathroom breaks.
