About: Hi! I’m Shalesa, a lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up around dogs and currently have two fur babies of my own, Laila and Deuce, who are a huge part of my family. I previously worked as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic, where I gained valuable knowledge about pet care, health, and safety. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have regularly pet sat for family members and friends over the years, giving me experience with puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with different temperaments and needs. I understand that every dog is unique, and I strive to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’m committed to treating them like one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I currently work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, I have the flexibility to come home during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feeding, and check-ins if needed. Outside of work hours, I am available for morning, evening, and weekend care. I strive to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, love, and care while their owners are away. 🐾💕 I live in a pet friendly apartment with 2 friendly furr babies, I have a lot of space. We frequently go to the dog park to get exercise and take long walks. 🐾💕

About: I've had furry companions (dogs, cats, guinea pigs) since I was a child. I went from only taking care of them at home, to working at a no-kill shelter, to working as a petsitter/dogwalker while I moonlight at a pet food store, to being a petsittier and trainer. My training schedule has time slots so there’s no overlap or rushing clients I am comfortable with crating and handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I also have experience with managing the time it takes to clean an area and be attentive to a pup or kitten.

I currently own and train multiple dogs, including a fully trained service animal and another dog I’ve personally raised and developed. This gives me strong experience with behavior, energy management, and different personalities. Dogs in my care are treated like family, but with structure. They can enjoy comfort like furniture once they demonstrate respectful behavior and cleanliness. I do not allow destructive or uncontrolled habits. I’m comfortable with puppies and can reinforce basic training, routine, and good behavior during their stay. I also provide advanced training reinforcement as part of my care. Dogs naturally work on obedience, confidence, impulse control, and daily mental and physical engagement while they’re here. I have experience building service-style task foundations and higher-level behavior, but I do not certify service animals. Every dog benefits from structure in my home, whether they need basic manners or more advanced work. My focus is safety, consistency, and communication so every dog is properly supervised, exercised, and leaves more balanced, responsive, and confident. Pet care is part of my daily routine, not something I fit in on the side. I’m home most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, structured interaction, and regular potty breaks, exercise, and mental engagement. My background in disciplined environments has shaped how I run my home—dogs here benefit from routine, clear expectations, and a calm, controlled atmosphere. Each day includes a balance of activity, training reinforcement, and rest so dogs stay healthy, settled, and stress-free. Because I’m available throughout the day, I can adapt to each dog’s needs—whether that’s higher energy, puppy structure, or a more relaxed pace. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so owners can feel confident their dog is safe, engaged, and well looked after at all times. Safety, trust, and structure are the foundation of how I care for every dog. My home is set up specifically for pet care, with a dedicated dog room, secure kennels, and supervised interaction at all times. I carefully manage introductions and only allow dogs to interact once they are calm, balanced, and a good fit. Dogs in my care follow a structured routine that includes regular potty breaks, exercise, mental stimulation, and rest. I maintain clear boundaries while still allowing comfort—dogs can enjoy furniture and a relaxed environment once they demonstrate respectful behavior and cleanliness. I require dogs to be crate familiar or comfortable with structured downtime. Owners are encouraged to provide a crate or familiar setup for overnight stays, though I have limited kennel space available if needed. My goal is to provide a calm, controlled environment where dogs feel safe, are properly supervised, and leave more balanced and well cared for than when they arrived.

About: As mentioned, I work in vet med! I am experienced with all ages, temperaments, breeds, health issues, and needs! I love a couch potato but I also own and love a working breed. I understand the importance of routine & mental stimulation! I spoil my fur children & understand wanting to keep yours happy while you’re away, but also able to trust that they’re safe! I own a dog that is overcoming his reactivity & that has required a lot of training & positive reinforcement work from myself in the presence of triggers—so I understand the difference in reactivity/anxiety vs aggression. I work full time Fridays through Mondays currently, but I have full availability during the week on Tuesdays through Thursdays. I don’t mind early mornings or late nights I would never leave someone’s pet unattended while under my care. I like for pets to have my full attention when I’m there. It’s what I’d expect & would want for my own! I’m very familar with canine & feline body language, anxiety, & aggression, and I know how to appropriately and effectively approach/handle pets whether they’re scared, reactive, or excited!

About: I started pet-sitting at ten with my twin, quickly becoming the neighborhood’s go-to for pets, plants, and house care. I love checking in, feeding, walking, and playing with animals. As a recent college graduate missing my flatcoat Apollo, I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs, especially hunting breeds. I work full-time, but I have plenty of time in the evenings and weekends. I am very active and would love to take your dog on a walk or outside. Small shared yard at apartment. Can hang out at home and do work with your furry friend or I can take them to the nearby park.

About: I should start off by saying I am a true pet lover! I love to work with pet because they are a very special gift to us. Not only do I love pets but the they love me also. Some way some how I feel as if I develop a special love and care for animals. My aunt always contact me to sit with her pets and when it's over they don't want me to leave. I love when pets are happy and excited. I can truly say. when they ate in my care, they will be loved and protected! From feeding to grooming pets, they will always leave my care with a wagging tail and an excitement that will leave the owners speechless. I love it! It's a passion for me! And I'm also in the process of trying to become a Veterinarian hopefully one day I can have my own animal hospital.

About: Because of my loving concern that I have for my very own dog, it really makes me one of the perfect candidates. I love my 🐕 he's rotten to the core. I am currently working a very stressful schedule which does not allow me the time that I would seriously love to have to spend with more or to care for that of others.
