About: I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career! I'm currently working a part time job, and I would love to take your dog for a walk, play with them, or simply keep them company while you're away! I'm available 9am - 9pm Mon, Wed, Thu, but am somewhat flexible on weekends for house sitting. I have a fenced backyard and 2 energetic Siberian Huskies that are very friendly and play well with new dogs; I take them to the Newton dog park often and they absolutely love it! I can provide a crate for a medium - large dog if needed/requested. My dog sleeps in my room with an open crate so she can sleep in her crate or just on the floor. I have plenty chew toys, everything from tennis balls to rope toys to an assortment of squeakers!

However, they do receive ample time in the evenings to play and exercise. Weekends are spent adventuring with pups! During the summer (May-August), I am home most days and have lots of time to care for all pets! Frequent potty breaks or walks are doable. I have a 5 year old Cavapoo named Pico who will keep all dogs company. He enjoys taking friends along with him on walks, runs, and trail adventures. He is treated as a child in our home, and your pet(s) will be as well! Dogs are allowed on all furniture and beds. Crating is available if necessary.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in our household and helped take care of them, feeding them and helping keep their space clean. I’ve also had my dog since she was 6 weeks and she lived to be 14 with a heart murmur. I trimmed her nails, gave her haircuts and bathed her. I also helped tend to her special diet and needs in her later years. I work part time and usually have some time each day for pet care, including any special care. I just like to know a couple days in advance so that I can be sure to manage my time wisely. I can walk dogs around my neighborhood or take them to a park nearby. There are several to choose from. I have a spacious living area with a backyard. I am good at paying attention to detail to be sure your pet will be best taken care of.

About: I have experienced caring for kittens, cats, and senior cats and I really enjoy getting to know each cats personality and what makes him feel the most comfortable. I’ve also cared for dogs ranging from six months to 13 years old and I am comfortable with both energetic puppies and older dogs who need a slower pace. I love spending time with animals and all the ways whether it’s plain cuddling or taking dogs on walks. I am a very active person and genuinely enjoy when dogs can come along with me and be a part of my day. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, cared for and happy while their owners are away. I currently work full-time managing a cycle studio. My 40 hours a week are spread across seven days. I normally am in office for 4 to 5 hours a day and work from home on Fridays and Sundays. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have cared for dogs with fenced yards and without, so I understand the importance of being alert and safety conscious during walks and outdoor time. I respect each pet’s routine and personality, whether they are energetic and playful or prefer a calm environment and extra cuddles. My goal is to create a trusting, low stress environment where pets feel happy and owners feel confident leaving them in my care.

About: I’m exceptional in training puppies, cats and dogs. If necessary I can discipline although I prefer positive encouragement towards good behaviour with rewards. I love teaching commands using an animals favourite treat or a clicker, whichever is more effective. When it comes to older animals it’s critical for me to be aware of and understand their history. Dietary restrictions, sleeping/eating habits, medication and application processes, etc. I love all animals but ultimately will treat them as family with the love and support they each deserve. I’m currently working as a part time Youth Director at a local church so I have plenty of time throughout my days to play with and care for your furrr babies. My main goal currently is to fill in the gaps of my day to day with joy and happiness that only pets can bring. We all need something to look forward too to make life enjoyable and for me right now that’s figuring out how to play with as many animals as possible to make sure they’re all loved while you’re away. Our home has as expansive enclosed back yard for dogs to run around in and play or simply take a potty break. Our living room and kitchen area are great open places for cats to explore and the basement is very clean and comfortable as well. Although, I prefer to go to a cats home instead because as you know being a cat owner most cats dislike change of environments or any change in general for that matter. When it comes to walks I like to take as many precautions as viable. Dog parks are available and accessible more so during the day. There are plenty of nearby parks in my neighbourhood as well as bike paths and sidewalks. I’m open to any suggestions for locations or preferred methods of transportation as some animals dislike car rides so a simple walk around the block would suffice. I take any and all advice seriously when it comes to the attention and care of your animal.

“Stacy was absolutely incredible with our with our pup! We seriously cannot say enough good things about her! We greatly appreciated her taking the time to do a meet and greet with him so he would be comfortable with her before she stayed. We knew right away that she has a true passion and great knowledge of caring for dogs. He instantly took to her calming nature. Our boxer gets a little separation anxiety from us being away and her compassion for making sure he felt loved and comfortable put him right at ease. She truly went above and beyond. As a worried dog mom, her constant updates made me feel so much better knowing he was doing well. I loved getting her frequent photos and videos of him through the day. She stayed at our home over the 4th of July weekend and we had some periods where fireworks were giving him anxiety as well. She was so patient with him and stayed in his room with him so he felt comforted. When we arrived home our house was left just the way we left and our boy was happy as can be!
