About: I’ve had a dog most of my life, but I’ve owned Cavaliers for 15 years. I’ve cared for multiple dogs (and cats) at one time. I prefer to care for dogs in your home. I can also care for fish, chickens and do general housekeeping. I reside in El Dorado, but for the last year, I have been substitute teaching in the Wichita metro area. Therefore, I do have some flexibility in my schedule at this point. I’m able to do potty runs during the day provided the distance allows it. I prefer to care for pets in my client’s home so that the dogs are used to their normal environment and routine. If needed, I can care for a single small-medium sized dog in my home, although the dog must be comfortable being on a leash as I do not have a fenced yard. Also, I am not a smoker or drinker.
About: I've been a volunteer at Caring Hands Humane Society for 4+ years, and in January of 2022 I raised a litter of 6 Pomsky puppies! I have a 4+ year old orange Siberian Husky, and I've grown up with a couple family dogs, so I've always been around animals and want to pursue an animal related career! About: I have a bachelors degree in animal science which included classes on animal care and husbandry! I’ve volunteered at animal shelters, shadowed veterinarians, and have been a dog owner my entire life. I have a senior dog myself so I am happy to offer all of the extra TLC your pet may need. I also used to compete with my dog in obedience and agility so I am well versed in dog training! I am a stay at home mom and farmer so I am always around the house and farm. This allows me to treat your pet like one of my own! They will get LOTS of love through out the day and plenty of potty breaks! My pets are treated as part of our family and yours would be too! We rarely use kennels unless requested/necessary. We love to go on family walks in the country and say hello to our cows! Our dogs are usually inside hanging out with us and only have to go outside if they want to!
About: I lost my girl in late 2024. Pet sitting for others has really helped my heart to heal. I have always had a dog in my life but I am not yet ready to commit to my next soulmate. I work from home full-time and miss having a shadow with me. Comfortable with meds and needles, as needed. Comfortable with elderly dogs. I work full time from home, so rarely would your pet be alone. I treat your dog like I treated my own. If I run an errand, your dog runs an errand with me (as long as you approve). We might take a walk, we might Netflix and chill, we might swim in the summer, it just depends what your dog “tells” me they wanna do! We have two guinea pigs (who can be separated from other animals if needed). It’s just my husband and I and our teen daughter, who is generally the one our guest dogs sleep with! Fully fenced yard available to use with few steps. Upstairs and downstairs of house but not required to go downstairs if they don’t want to. Crate available, if they are trained or need it. I rarely see the need to use it but require crate trained dogs in case I need it. Common reasons would be during grocery delivery (to prevent escapes while door maybe open), unexpected visitors (if your dog would be uncomfortable, etc.), and such.
About: I have two big dogs, a pyrenees, and a pyrenees mix. I also have 4 cats, and 2 pet rats. I have experience with puppies as well, as our dog has had 2 litters of puppies. About: I currently work as a zookeeper and have years of wild and domestic animal experience. Working with wild animals means I have a much deeper understanding of animal husbandry, psychology, and behavior that allows me to provide better care for your pet! I'm especially comfortable around and handling large dogs due to the nature of my job. Professionally, I have cared for a variety of wild animals including large cats like lions, tigers, and leopards, dolphins, seals and sea lions, and several canid species. That being said, I'm able to provide a deeper level of personalized care. I currently work 5 days a week, usually Wednesday-Sunday. On my weekend, I'm home all day. On my workdays, I'm able to leave during lunch to provide dogs with potty breaks. There is a dog park within walking distance of my apartment that I bring my dogs to every morning and evening. I do also have a dog potty set up inside my apartment just in case a dog can't wait for me to get home. I provide this because I personally wouldn't make myself hold it, so I would never force a dog to do the same. I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: I was raised on a farm my whole life taking care of animals! I have a huge heart for any animal and always enjoy getting to know their different personalities! I have experience with diabetic and senior dogs :) I work full time in healthcare but luckily, I have weekends off! I have lots of time to play with and get to know your pup! I have a pretty big fenced in yard along with free rome in the home! I have 2 friendly dogs for your babies to play with while they stay!

Im available most days to go on a walk or whatever your needs may be! I currently have one dog of my own who is spoiled with toys and loves to CONSTANTLY play so I can definitely keep up if they are high energy. I love going on walks or simply playing catch in the backyard. You will never have to worry about your animal not getting enough attention, if anything they might get to much! :)
