About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: I have always been an animal lover! I always have to stop and pet when I see them. I have often pet sat/boarded our neighbors animals for weeks even. I love all animals! I am currently a stay at home mom so I have extra time to come walk your pets, sit with them, or even for them to come stay with me I am home all day. At my home pets are always on leash and walked on grass/sidewalk. Can be kept in a separate area if requested! Clients home is based on clients wishes (backyard/dog park/sidewalk). I also have 3 loving dogs and 2 cats that stay with me currently!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience and genuine passion for animals of all sizes and personalities. I have cared for many dogs of various breeds & sizes throughout my life and currently have three dogs and two cats at home. About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I have years of experience of animal handling. I have worked as a zoo educator and have pet sat for years. I have a passion for animals and their well being. I’m available most days for visits and overnight stays. You can contact me through the app and I will get back you as soon as possible. I have stayed overnight for clients many times and can provide excellent references. Some light house keeping is typically included for overnights unless specified otherwise.

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life, and adore all types of pets. I have experience with puppies, and house/pet sitting for both dog and cat parents. Under my care, your pets will be treated with the utmost love and affection. My job is to make sure your babies are as comfortable as possible, and ensure you a solid peace of mind while you’re away from them. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own! I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty open, though I do travel between Columbia, SC and Roanoke, VA often for the time being. If interested in booking, at least 4 days of notice would be wonderful! Inside of your home, I will care for your pet the same way you would if you were home. I will follow specific instructions tailored to your pet, including feeding times, walks, medications, rules in the home, etc. I love going on walks, and stopping by for potty breaks as well, and will tailor the experience to your pet and what they need.

About: Hey there! I absolutely adore all animals and have a fur baby of my own - a 7 year old Havanese dog named Teddy who’s my best friend and adventure buddy! He also happens to be a very anxious dog with separation anxiety, so I understand just how important it can be to have someone that is able to check in on your pets while you’re away. I have a car and a very flexible schedule, so I am able to check in your pets throughout the day and provide food, walks, or exercise/play breaks whenever needed! I also have experience administering medication and caring for older cats through my time fostering for local animal shelters. I look forward to hanging out with your pets while you’re away :) I’m currently a college student home for the summer working a part time job, so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets and check in on them throughout the day as needed! My goal is to provide your pets with attentive care and companionship while you are away while also keeping you fully updated with pictures and videos!

About: My love for animals began at 8 years old with my two aquatic dwarf frogs named Rocky and Elvis and my hamster, Josie. In college, I fostered sick kittens from a local shelter. My first few years of living on my own allowed me to adopt my two cats, Piper and Blue. But it wasn’t until I moved into my first house with a yard that I knew I could provide a loving home for dogs, as well. I love all shapes and sizes, but big dogs have my heart. Currently my parents own an English Lab and a Chow Chow/ German Shepherd mix. Our first dog, Molly, inspired the paw tattoo on my inner wrist. I miss her every day. As for my cats: I had a roommate with a Boykin, and they hang out with an Australian Shepherd often. My cats would love to share their home with any furry friend! I am off during the summers because I teach, so I am pretty wide open with my availability for July. I am available for meet and greets and can meet at a public location, but in some circumstances I will be able to accommodate meet and greets at my home, so you can see where your sweet pet will be staying. I am comfortable hosting two dogs at once for now (this may change in the future). My cats stay in a separate room, but I do encourage clients to be up front about how their dogs feel about cats so I can prepare accordingly. When you bring your pet for their stay, please either pre portion their meals in separate bags, or have specific instructions for me (i.e. one cup of kibble, etc.). Please specify what treats (if any) they are allowed to have. I have the supplies that you will need so that you can confidently drop off your fur baby knowing that they will be taken care of and entertained during their stay. They’ll just need their harness (if used), as well as any toys from home they they can’t part with! I am on top of the weather and the heat fronts and have been enjoying early morning or late evening walks, always checking the temperature of the pavement first. While most dogs LOVE to fetch for hours in my backyard, their safety is my top priority and breaks will be well supplied throughout the day. Under no circumstance will your dog be allowed outside without me right there accompanying them. I am 5 minutes away from my personal and emergency vet, DeRolf. I am off all summer- I am available at all times every day of the week. I teach, so I need something to keep me busy this summer. I have a large, fenced in yard that dogs love to run and play fetch in. My home is comfy and dogs are allowed on / in any space in my home (we share furniture in these parts). I am very responsible and have pet sat in others homes multiple times. I have always appreciated the opportunity others have given me to make friends with their pet and care for them like they are my own.

About: I owned a beautiful 7 year old St. Bernard and although he was stubborn he taught me a lot. I am able to control and establish a barrier of trust between us to ensure my safety, his and the safety of those around us because let's be honest he is a big boy (180 lbs to be exact). Taking care of such a big boy, ensures me that I will be able to take care of your fur baby, no matter the size, or temperament. I have cared for many other dogs and house sat a few with behavioral problems as well. I am currently working part time, however my schedule is not exact, so as long as you reach out I will most likely be able to accommodate you and your furry friend. I have a front yard and a large crate meant for any size if necessary. I live in a townhome and can take your dog for as many or as little walks as they need.

About: I have over a decade of experience caring for a wide arrange of dog temperaments: particularly active, aging, dog reactive, and sick animals. Am ready and able to take care of dogs with variety of and needs! I’m currently working full time in Blacksburg from 8:30-4:00, but am available every night after then and weekends! If nearby, I can also carve out 30 minutes to care for your animal during my lunch breaks and in the mornings. About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I also currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, so caring for animals is a daily thing for me while also caring for my own. The biggest dog I have experience with is a Great Dane while the smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier. I currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center part-time, so Rover will be more of a secondary income for me. I work with dogs, cats, and rabbits daily but also have experience with pets including hamsters and fish. My dogs are let outside at least 6 times a day. Those times definitely being morning, noon, evening, and night and some times in between. They are crated while I’m not home but while I am with them they freely roam. They even sleep with me.
