About: I’ve owned and taken care of pets my whole life. I adore being around them and spending time playing, snuggling, walking, and giving them the best care. My family, neighbors, and friends all rely on me to take great care of their pets when they cannot. I am currently a student at Virginia Tech with only 1 class Monday-Thursday and would love to spend my free time with pets. I am completely open and very flexible to accommodate your schedules. About: I have 3 dogs at home in CLT, NC. All of my friends say I treat them like my babies. I miss them so much when I am at school and would love to give your puppy some snuggles while you are away! I have 1 class a day so I will be gone max 2 hours and I LOVEEE walks so they will be walked at least 2 miles everyday if able! I can easily crate your dog if preferred. I live in an apartment but live super close to grassy areas for when they need to use the restroom. I have 3 other roommate's who all have dogs at home and one of us is usually always home!

About: I’ve spent the past 3 years volunteering with shelter dogs that were reactive, nervous, high energy, sensitive, untrained, and everything in between. My sister and I would take shelter dogs out for the day and bring them to the beach, on long walks, car rides, basically just let them have a full day outside of the shelter. That experience taught me a completely different level of dog care than I was used to from simply caring for my grandmother’s dog, Lulu. I learned how to recognize when a dog is uncomfortable, when to give them space, and how to work with their individual boundaries instead. Shelter dogs taught me that no two dogs are the same, and caring for them isn’t something to take lightly. I’ve also volunteered at the Staten Island Zoo for 2 years and have had animals around me my entire life. My pets back home in New York include my 8 year old cat Nemo, a blue tongued skink, bearded dragon, gecko, gerbils, tortoise, pixie frog, and more. My sister and I grew up going to animal expos, so I’ve had experience being around and caring for many different kinds of animals. Because of that, I’m very comfortable around animals, but I also know that being comfortable doesn’t mean ignoring their boundaries. I want to know their routine, personality, triggers, habits, favorite things, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! I’m a Virginia Tech student with a pretty open class schedule. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I only have class from 12:20–2:15 PM. Tuesdays are my busiest day, with classes from 9:30–12:15 PM, and on Thursdays I only have class from 11:00 AM–12:15 PM. Because of this, your pet would rarely be alone for long stretches; the longest would be around 3 hours on Tuesdays. Outside of class, I’m home and have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and keeping them company. I live at The Hub, which is a pet friendly community with its own dog park and plenty of outdoor spaces for walks and potty breaks. I’d only use the dog park if it’s empty. I’m also happy to skip it completely if that’s what you prefer! I’d follow whatever routine your dog is already used to and keep things as normal and comfortable for them as possible while they’re with me!

About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

Being at home allows me to be very flexible with the care you need. My family has both a dog and cat at home, so I’m familiar with the care needed for both. I’ve also cared for an elder dog before needing insulin administered. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible to work with your needs! I’m happy to work with you! I have a large un-fenced yard surrounded by woods; supervised time outside only and on a leash unless you and I both are confident in obedience to come when called. I have a small dog at home who prefers a cuddle buddy over a play mate, but she is friendly with most dogs and loves cats! In the event I leave home I prefer crating until I get to know your pup.

About: I have either owned or been around dogs/cats since 8 yrs old, mostly dogs. I have trained my own animals simple commands (“sit, stay, paw, speak”) and I subscribe to a service that keeps me learning new tricks and tips for dogs and cats. About: I have always grown up around pets around the house! I am currently at college and am missing being around animals. I am always available to hang out, walk, play, or just chill with a pet. I have dealt with my goldendoodle for 9 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me. I am a college student and have 2 classes everyday which are each 1 hour. Therefore, I have a lot of flexibility before, in between, and after classes. I exercise daily so walking/playing with a dog fit perfectly in my schedule. About: I’ve owned a black Labrador(Anna) for over 13 years, she has not once had any sort of health issue as I’ve feed her well, and kept her up to date on vet visits. I’m caring, compassionate, and smart and versatile enough to be calm in any situation that may arise. I assure you that I will treat your pet as if it were my own. This allows me the freedom to stay focused on your pet and be there when other folks have to leave. If a situation ever does arrive my strength are communication so you can rest assured I will be in constant contact, which as a pet owner for an older girl myself id expect from others if I left her in their care. If the pet requires adequate exercise I have no problem going on a long walk with them and the space is pet friendly as my dog (Anna) is there. However, i’m happy to have an introduction to make sure everyone is comfortable. We tend to take a lot of walks and play ball in the yard throughout the day. During the summer we swim in the pop up pool we have for the boys and get the zooms out!

I am currently a student at Virginia Tech with only 1 class Monday-Thursday and would love to spend my free time with pets. I am completely open and very flexible to accommodate your schedules. I would love to pet sit weekdays as well as weekends. I have a backyard that I would love to play with dogs in, I have multiple trails near me to go for walks, and I will make sure your pet is comforted immensely when they are inside my home.

When I picked him up, he was super happy to see me, but I could also tell he was kind of sad to leave them. They went on many hiking adventures and he came back just as clean. Courtney & Kam were super flexible with the time, especially when I had to extend my trip a couple days early. Overall, I would recommend them. I could tell they loved my pup with all their heart!! They were super professional and very kind. I also saw how well kept and nice their home was.”

About: I have 3 dogs at home in CLT, NC. All of my friends say I treat them like my babies. I miss them so much when I am at school and would love to give your puppy some snuggles while you are away! I have 1 class a day so I will be gone max 2 hours and I LOVEEE walks so they will be walked at least 2 miles everyday if able! I can easily crate your dog if preferred. I live in an apartment but live super close to grassy areas for when they need to use the restroom. I have 3 other roommate's who all have dogs at home and one of us is usually always home!

About: I’ve spent the past 3 years volunteering with shelter dogs that were reactive, nervous, high energy, sensitive, untrained, and everything in between. My sister and I would take shelter dogs out for the day and bring them to the beach, on long walks, car rides, basically just let them have a full day outside of the shelter. That experience taught me a completely different level of dog care than I was used to from simply caring for my grandmother’s dog, Lulu. I learned how to recognize when a dog is uncomfortable, when to give them space, and how to work with their individual boundaries instead. Shelter dogs taught me that no two dogs are the same, and caring for them isn’t something to take lightly. I’ve also volunteered at the Staten Island Zoo for 2 years and have had animals around me my entire life. My pets back home in New York include my 8 year old cat Nemo, a blue tongued skink, bearded dragon, gecko, gerbils, tortoise, pixie frog, and more. My sister and I grew up going to animal expos, so I’ve had experience being around and caring for many different kinds of animals. Because of that, I’m very comfortable around animals, but I also know that being comfortable doesn’t mean ignoring their boundaries. I want to know their routine, personality, triggers, habits, favorite things, and anything else that helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them! I’m a Virginia Tech student with a pretty open class schedule. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I only have class from 12:20–2:15 PM. Tuesdays are my busiest day, with classes from 9:30–12:15 PM, and on Thursdays I only have class from 11:00 AM–12:15 PM. Because of this, your pet would rarely be alone for long stretches; the longest would be around 3 hours on Tuesdays. Outside of class, I’m home and have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and keeping them company. I live at The Hub, which is a pet friendly community with its own dog park and plenty of outdoor spaces for walks and potty breaks. I’d only use the dog park if it’s empty. I’m also happy to skip it completely if that’s what you prefer! I’d follow whatever routine your dog is already used to and keep things as normal and comfortable for them as possible while they’re with me!

About: I take care of pets for family when they need it and have experience caring for older pets, puppies, and those with special care instructions. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can take time to walk dogs during the day. I’m most available during the weekend and after 5 pm for over night boarding, but can potentially accommodate other schedules. I have no pets, so my home is perfect for less friendly pets. Crates will need to provided if they are needed for your pet, but I’m willing to keep up with their routine.

I send regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe. In My Home: Pets have a clean, pet-proofed space with supervised indoor time, enrichment, cuddles, and frequent potty breaks. I use slow introductions, low-stress handling, and separate areas if needed for shy or senior pets. I monitor behavior and health closely and maintain a calm, positive environment. About: I am a stay at home Mom and would love to help other pet owners be at ease knowing their pets are being taken care of while you’re at work or out of town. Being at home allows me to be very flexible with the care you need. My family has both a dog and cat at home, so I’m familiar with the care needed for both. I’ve also cared for an elder dog before needing insulin administered. I am a stay at home mom, so my schedule is very flexible to work with your needs! I’m happy to work with you! I have a large un-fenced yard surrounded by woods; supervised time outside only and on a leash unless you and I both are confident in obedience to come when called. I have a small dog at home who prefers a cuddle buddy over a play mate, but she is friendly with most dogs and loves cats! In the event I leave home I prefer crating until I get to know your pup.
