About: Almost always have had medium to large dogs growing up. Love taking dogs to dog park to meet new animals and playing. Play is fun I'm currently a SAHM with twin boys so Im almost always available. Looking for ways to leave the house after 8am most days for fun Have a large fenced backyard. Can crate if need be. Or kept separate from other animals. Read animal cues to not overwhelm them with environment. I understand every animal is different and have different needs
About: Recent empty nester- let me love on your babies! I love both cats and dogs equally. Currently only offering 'in your home' house/dog sitting, drop-ins and walks. I work full-full time, M-F 7am-4:30pm. I enjoy running and also hiking the various mountains around the North Georgia area, but also love to curl up on the couch and watch TV for hours at a time. Whatever amount of activity your pet may need I am able to provide it. I have been a [people] nurse for 20+ years, giving me the confidence to take care of daily medication and/or exercises that may be needed for your pet. Please check out my reviews and allow me the opportunity to provide excellent care to your loved ones while you are away! Available weekends only for walks and drop-ins. House sitting can be arranged for extended periods, but please note that I do work away from home 40+ hours a week M-F. I do not care for pets within my home any longer but would love for you to trust me to come into your pets home and provide the level of love and care that you give them when you are home. Each pet has different needs and I try to quickly figure out how much attention and care they need to not feel sad that you are not home.
About: I have had pets most of my life, and I have experience with several breeds of dogs and cats. My passion is to help pet owners not to use kennels as their only solution for pet care. Currently we do not have any pets at home. Walking is my exercise of choice. I am recently retired, so I am able to spend quality time with your pet(s). All of our kids are grown and do not live at home. I am flexible to take care of your pet(s) for what is required. About: I have been raising animals of all breeds and species since I was 4 years old; my grandparents farm on the reservation always maintained at least 20-30 animals. I had my first goat, 4 dogs, a guinea pig and an African parrot named BoBo when I was 2. I am an ASPCA guardian, a WWF defender, PETA advocate and currently have 4 dogs of my own. They range in size from 110lbs of solid muscle to the slender 18lb body of the chiweenie whom is my newest (3 years in March). My dogs are all very well behaved, are not restricted to any areas or from furniture and are never exposed to potential dangers. My animals will be at our second home when any animals are in the home unless specified as a non-issue by the pet parent. The “bottom line” is your pets are treated like my pets and my pets are my family. Very simply, they are my life and you can guarantee yours will be treated the same. I specialize in elderly care, special needs, etc. you name it, I’ve fostered/adopted it I’m hoping to begin to do this full time soon, god willing. For now I am part time but a full time animal lover. For the next month I have free time all weekend I take care of them however and whenever they need taken care of. You just have to have keen senses and anticipate things even if they never happen, that’s how you stay prepared

“If I could only describe Jen in one word, it would be compassionate. Jen has a compassion for animals like nothing I have ever seen. My animals love her (even the pincher who hates everyone, including my partner, LOVES her). The care and consideration that she takes with animals is amazing to see and having her there for me when a relative fell ill.....she alleviated so much stress taking my animals on as her own for an entire week. She dropped everything and even stayed at my home so they wouldn't be in "culture shock" with a new person in a new environment for that length of time. You can tell shes a farm girl and despite not being bothered by getting dirty in the slightest, she sure can keep and maintain and spotless home/vehicle. She has taught me how to listen to my animals and pinpoint behavior that can be indicative of other things, e.g. one dog walking under the chairs rubbing his back against them. She asked to look at his skin and sure enough, he has a very serious skin allergy. Me and my partner just thought it was a cute little quirk but Jen is so in-tune with their behaviors and has so many years experience with animals in general, she noticed right away. I am very blessed to have her as a close friend and for her to be in my pet's lives. I could not have met a better caregiver; I would trust her with my own life.”
