About: What sets me apart is how much I genuinely care about making pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I grew up with dogs and have two Labradoodles back home with my mom, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’m very attentive to each pet’s personality and routine—whether they’re super playful, a little shy, or a total Velcro pet who wants to be by my side 24/7. I’m also big on communication, so you can expect plenty of pictures and updates while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is getting lots of attention, affection, and care! I work full-time in downtown Pittsburgh during the weekdays, with the flexibility to work remotely at least one day per week and occasionally additional days as needed. I have plenty of availability throughout the week for pet sitting, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight stays, with generally full availability on weekends! I’m always happy to coordinate around your pet’s normal routine to make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship! I want your pet to feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away, so I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as I can! I’m happy to stick to specific feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, or any other instructions you leave for me. I’ll give them plenty of attention and affection while also respecting their personality and space. I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and will always leave things just as I found them. Lexi doesn't roll over for a belly rub until she is really comfortable with someone, and that usually takes being around that person a number of times, but she rolled over and wanted a belly rub the first time Megan was here to watch her. Megan remembered everything that we had gone over at the Meet & Greet. She was on time for the Sitting. It's normally hard to leave your dog with someone new, but I was 100% comfortable leaving Lexi with Megan, as I saw how they adored each other. I pay attention to routines, behavior changes, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I have been a caretaker and dog sitter for a few years. Needless to say, taking care of people’s loved-ones comes second nature to me. My night shift schedule at the VA allows me to be available all day to give your pet the attentive care that he/she needs including keeping them company, letting them out for potty breaks, walks,feeds,etc. With house-sitting, I will leave your home the way you left it.
