About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: I have had dogs all my life, from German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, and now Golden Retrievers. Nine years ago I decided to foster and do home visits for a rescue. I ensure they get vetted, groomed, and work with any behavior issues from being abused or neglected. I have plenty of patience and make sure above all else, they know they are safe and loved. That is all our fur babies want is to be safe, loved, and taken care of and the unconditional love you get in return is simply amazing. I can help you anytime, just let me know what you need. I have a fenced in yard, and two friendly Goldens at home that get along with everyone. I can crate your dog if needed or they can have run of the house with mine. We have plenty of toys from ones to chew on, to several to play ball or frisbee outside. It doesn’t matter the age of your pet, I have had and adopted several older dogs, I love them all and they will get the best care. I have farm land in front of me to take them for walks if you would like that as well. Your pets will be well taken care of and safe.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of varying sizes since I was a little girl. In my childhood home we had five dogs, two cats and one bunny! I currently have three pups, and four cats! They’re very special to me and I take the most precious care of them, which I extend to all animals and hopefully, to yours too! I currently have college classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am unavailable 1-2:30pm! M/W and weekends I can be available anytime if I have enough notice! :) Just like I do with my pets, I will follow your fur babies eating and potty schedule to a tee. They’ll only get the best love, and “gentle dog parenting” (haha). I love to go on walks myself, so they’ll get out plenty. It’s your home and your pet, so I will surely follow the rules you have set for your pet care.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid. I love taking care of them. I can care for all types and sizes. I would treat your animal like they are my own. I do plan on going in to a vet tech program very soon. So I would be able to give care if needed. I currently do not work. So I have plenty of type to take care of your animals. I tend to wake up pretty early, so I would be able to let your animals out early in the morning. I can care for your pet in the way that feels the most comfortable to you. If you would rather them stay out of crates and me play with them or if you want them in a crate. It is all up to you and I will treat them however you want me to.

About: Responsible pet sitter with over 20 years experience. My husband 3 children and I run a small homestead. We have our family dog Penny, 2 cats named lamb and cow, bunnies, pigs and chickens. I have experience with small and large livestock. And have Volunteered time fostering dogs for PAWS in state college. I have experience with and assisting the delivery of animals, administering medications, following specific feeding schedules, and providing companionship and exercise. I’m a stay at home mom with 3 children. We do go to church on Sunday's. We would be gone Sunday's for about 3 hours in total. Unless it’s soccer season we are home! We have a fenced in front yard and our back yard leads into the woods. We have areas for a dog to be completely fenced in if needed as well. We spend a majority of our summer days outside. We live in a 2 story home, pets will be on the main floor in our home. Our stairs have gates for the bottom and top. Our animals are welcome on the couch but if this is a no no for you we will respect that. Our dog is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. Our cats have free range of our home but spend most of the time in the basement.

About: I have two shih tzu puppies, fifteen chickens and one rabbit. I love all of my animals and care for them like they are my children. About: Dogs, cats, bird, lizards and fish have all been apart of my family at different stages of my life. I have had dogs from young pups to seniors. I am currently self employed as a doula and am a retired veteran. I have flexibility and freedom to plan my schedule. I love animals and working with them.
