“We are so grateful our 13 year old, partially deaf dog, Brody had a great weekend with Sarah! After he got settled, she sent photos and updates of him making himself right at home plus she has a nice fenced in yard. Sarah was very flexible and kind making us less anxious about leaving Brody! We highly recommend her!”

“Briana was extremely quick to respond to our last minute request. She provided updates and photos throughout our pup’s stay with her and was always quick to respond whenever we reached out. Even after getting stuck in traffic and getting there late Briana was helpful and did not have any issues with our late arrival. We would highly recommend Briana to anyone in the area needing someone to watch their pups.”

“Danny was great. Kept me informed and sent pics of Finn. This was the first time I left Finn for such a long time, but I think I missed him more than he missed me. I will use Danny in the future to take care of Finn.”

“Amazing dog care, loving, caring, flexible, accommodating , sweet . They treat my dog like their own . I go on trips with a lot of peace in mind bc I know my little Daisy is in very safe hands.”

“Charlie is the best sitter I have encountered on Rover. The set-up he has for the dogs allow great exercise, monitored socialization and tons of love. I have never had a bad experience with him and will continue to rebook with him for his services. He is extremely flexible and communicative throughout the entire stay. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

“Shaynna and her children took such good care of Teddy, yet again! Shaynna is so kind and amazing and she always takes care of Teddy’s needs perfectly. I have no worries when my baby boy is with her and her family and I’m beyond grateful for them! ❤️”

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! If you're looking for a caretaker that will provide top notch care and treat your furry companion with the love and respect they deserve, then look no further and reach out to Cheryl.”

“Nadia is amazing! She is so flexible with having to make adjustments to the schedule and even goes out of her way to help with pick up/ drop off (which have been such a blessing with having a young baby). She communicates very well and provides picture updates during my dogs stay. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Our 1.5yr old puppy, Birdie, was in the very best hands with Melissa during a recent boarding! Melissa is thorough in her intake, noting Birdie's food allergies and current schedule, and is warm and gentle in helping pups acclimate to a new environment. Melissa maintained Birdie's schedule, giving her plenty of outdoor and play time, and administered Birdie's medication, giving us peace of mind to focus on family. We enjoyed the handful of photos Melissa sent along the way and always appreciate her responsive communication. Melissa is deeply professional and the most thorough and warm caretaker and our expectations are always surpassed when Birdie is with Melissa!”

“Lejune was nothing but AMAZING with our new 5 week family puppy! I never used Rover and was recommended by a neighbor. After reading through reviews of other profiles, Lejune's stuck out the most to me. While my family and I were away I received endless pictures, videos, and updates on my Brady! He settled in very well and definitely liked like he was enjoying himself. I will be booking again, as well as using Lejune for training.”

“David provided loving care and excellent communication for our two dogs during their week long stay. We would highly recommend David and you can be confident of excellent care and communication.”

“Jesse took great care of Buster and sent me several photo updates showing what a great time my boy was having! I’m grateful for Jesse’s flexibility with the last minute date change. Highly recommend.”

“Hailey and Jacob to the rescue! Our sitter came down with an illness a day before my wife and I were heading out of town. We were in scramble mode. Thankfully, Hailey had an opening. Her and her husband took very good care of dogs and gave extra attention to my pup with an eye injury. Hailey sent messages and pictures throughout the stay. Awesome family! 5 Stars!”

“Michelle and family took such good care of our young, energetic dog! I felt very comfortable knowing he was in such good hands with them. He came home after his week long stay very happy!”

About: I am currently doing Rover part-time, I’m also working 2 other part-time jobs, however, for one of them I get to choose my own schedule. If given enough notice (usually a week) I can take off the days you’d need from one of my jobs, and then just schedule my other around it! I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and caring for them! Ive taken 2 pre-vet classes and would love to have a job working with animals full-time, no matter the job! As of now, I am caring for my 2 cats and leopard gecko! I only work Thurs-Sun, never more than 8 hours + my other job I can pick my own schedule! I am free all other weekdays to be able to take care of your pets! I am no longer able to do house sitting because I now have a baby to take care of, but if they are good with kids and cats, your pet is more than welcome to come stay with us! I prefer having the option to crate in case I need to go out for a bit, but I have taken care of pets who didn’t need one! Your pets are treated as my own when they are here, we take long walks around my apartment complex, I have treats for both cats and dogs, and many toys! Let me know if your pet has any allergies or dietary restrictions so they can be as healthy and happy as possible

“Amber was incredible with my cat, Gus! She stayed with him while I was gone for a few days and sent me pictures every day! I would 100% have her stay with him again, in fact, I even referred her to my family. So that should tell you something!!”

“Jenna takes great care after my cat everytime she drops in. My cat is very shy towards everyone, and she managed to become best friends with him! I would recommend Jenna to anyone needing a pet sitter!”

“I would give Renee 10 stars if possible! This was our first pet sitting experience and she is fantastic! She definitely went above and beyond, was extremely professional and considerate, and made the whole experience amazing. We will absolutely want her to watch our furbaby again in the future!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and have had experience owning other pets such as geckos, cats, and snakes. I’ve been a pet sitter for a little over two years. My true passion for pet sitting comes from my desire to be accompanied by them, dogs specifically. I work with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. Dogs of all backgrounds tend to gravitate towards me and I have never had any negative interactions. While studying for my undergrad, I was actually in charge of all the live animal specimens present on the University grounds. Feeding, exercise, and handling/care were done daily, which can explain my comfortability and familiarity with pet care. I currently am home as I finish my masters degree online so my daily schedule is fairly free. I workout and do part-time contract work when I am not doing schoolwork. I’m extremely flexible and will be willing to meet your needs as best as possible. Simply put, I treat the pets like they are my own. I ensure they are met with sufficient attention, exercise, nutrition, and safety while under my supervision. Minimizing stress is my biggest concern (my dog has separation anxiety so I know how it can be). I’ve found it helpful in the past to use my own dog as a bridge between myself and the client’s pet, as his presence tends to build confidence and reassurance.

I can also offer home stays as well with enough time to prepare in advance! :) Just like I do with my pets, I will follow your fur babies eating and potty schedule to a tee. They’ll only get the best love, and “gentle parenting” (haha). I love to go on walks myself, so they’ll get out plenty. As well as respecting your home & rules!

I will care for your pet and home as if they were my own and ensure they are safe and cared for during a visit. I am happy to take animals out for a walk or just play in your home or yard depending on your preference.

About: In my opinion, animals are the best thing in the world! Especially when they become pets. I am a nurse at Johns Hopkins Hospital, but I have always had other passions. One passion would definitely be my love for animals and nature! When I am not at the hospital I would love to get to know you and your family pet! I love all animals so much ... I got allergy weekly/biweekly shots (2 in each arm) to prove it!! I am super interested in caring for your family pet and making them feel like you never left home! I am interested in walking, sitting, home visits and boarding animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, hamsters, hermit crabs, etc! I am skilled at taking care of many different animals. I currently own a dachshund and a Bichon poo. My dogs are my world!! If you want someone who will treat your pet like family I am your girl! About: I LOVE DOGS!! What more can I say? I have had dogs in my family, of my own and taken care of family dogs practically since I was born. I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and love all of them, no matter what! I have had experience with special diets, dog walking and even diabetic dogs (using diabetic test strips and glucometer). Sometimes I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer: I can get along with all dogs and read what they need or want. I'm also great at helping dogs to heal or get over their fears! I especially love giving and receiving loves (hugs, kisses and lots of cuddles and petting)! Give me your doggie babies! :D I would love to take care of them!
About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I can remember! When they say dogs are humans' best friend, they truly mean it! I cannot remember a time we did not have a pet in our home. I now own an amazing Bernedoodle of my own, who is an emotional support dog that went through 12 weeks of training! Being able to see a dog's tail wag or those cute little puppy's eyes they give you is one of the most fulfilling, adorable things. Being of service to people is my main calling in life, and being able to service your pet would be amazing, as I love creating new dog besties! I am currently unemployed and seeking a new full-time position. This market is not easy! With that said, my schedule is wide open! I am a volleyball coach at Frederick Community College, which takes up about 2 hours of my nights starting in late July! My weekends are mostly open. I am easy to schedule with; I need to ensure I have time to check my weekends! When it comes to allowing dogs to stay at my residence, my property manager does not allow it. With that said, I am more than willing to stay at any location needed, as I have a roommate who can watch my dog! I am willing to travel wherever needed. I have a very reliable car with plenty of backseat space, and I am willing to take the dog to another location if needed. I am very flexible and want to ensure you and your animal are happy and trusting of me!

I am used to big breeds, but I am comfortable with any type of dog. I'm a very friendly, patient, and easy going individual with a passion for life and love, and of course... pets. I enjoy brisk hikes, walks, and runs of any sort, as is part of my daily regimen with my two dogs. If your dog needs a run, walk, cleaning, feeding, or love, please don't hesitate to ask for my help! Thanks so much for choosing me to care for your pup! I work from home as a game developer, so I'm very flexible and can make time to fit in care for your pets. I take daily hikes and runs in the morning or whenever I can. I live in a slow road, and a field for my dog to run in. I would leash up any and all pets anytime they are outside.
About: While growing up, my parents fostered many greyhounds. I assisted with training, walks, and over all care! I love pups of all shapes and ages! I have an Australian Shepard named Levee. I care for all his needs daily. We get exercise by going on 2-4 hiking trails a week. I would prefer coming to you. I want your pups comfortable and in THIER space. Whatever you need! Walks, playing, or just keeping them company!
About: Hi! I’m Emma — a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet sitter. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have a 6-year-old Golden Retriever named Harley, who keeps me active and smiling every day. I currently dog sit weekly for a client where I handle walks, feeding, playtime, and even vet appointments — so your pup is always in capable, caring hands. I graduated from Wilson College in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science specializing in Equine Studies, giving me a strong background in animal care, behavior, and responsibility. I truly understand that dogs are family — my own dog is my best friend — and I treat every animal I care for as if they were my own. I’d love to give your dog safe, loving, and dependable care while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently in between jobs, which allows me a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and extended care. I teach a class at Wilson College two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45–2:15), but I’m otherwise available throughout the day. I currently help a client with her dog Monday through Friday, and that schedule is flexible as well. Because of this, I’m able to prioritize pets in my care and adjust my routine to meet their individual needs. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions are always double-checked, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, energy level, and any special needs. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions exactly. In my home, dogs are supervised, have a calm, clean environment, and receive plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment. I’m comfortable administering basic care, transporting pets safely to vet appointments, and providing regular updates so owners feel confident and informed. I treat every pet as if they were my own — with patience, consistency, and lots of love.

About: I'm a loving dog mom of 3 rescue pups: Hunter 14 yrs old, Huey and Harry both 2 yrs old with 40 years of experience. I'm a full time remote employee allowing me to be available to tend to my dogs and Rover guests as needed 24/7. Belly rub breaks are part of my work-life balance. I have a large fenced yard and three friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate my pups or yours if needed.

“I really like the fact that Lucy only watches one dog at a time. No cages or kennels were used, and our dog was allowed to be on the couch which is what she does at home. I would recommend Lucy”

“Suki was great with my two older dogs. Suki was flexible and attentive to their needs. She communicated with me regularly, sending photos and updates every day. She was very patient when one of my dogs had separation anxiety. I was really thankful, and knew the dogs were in good hands!”

5 Stars!”

“Rocky went above and beyond to ensure our dog was comfortable. He also kept us updated on how she was doing while we were away. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

“Michelle and family took such good care of our young, energetic dog! I felt very comfortable knowing he was in such good hands with them. He came home after his week long stay very happy!”

About: I grew up in a dog-loving home—there was never a time we didn’t have a furry friend in the family. Since my very first pet, I’ve enjoyed caring for animals. Now as an adult, I have two dogs and a cat of my own. One of my pups is a sweet senior who enjoys the slower pace of life, and the other is a high-energy guy I’ve raised since he was a puppy. We went through all the training together—lots of patience, consistency, and treats!—and now he’s a well-behaved, happy companion who keeps me on my toes. My cat is curious and full of personality, always finding new spots to nap and new ways to charm everyone. Fun Facts Just About Me: I moved to Hagerstown with my fiancé, 2 dogs and cat about 2 years ago. My fiancé and I are getting married in May 2026. I play adult softball and kickball. I love to be outside whether it's walking the dogs, attempting to garden or being on the water. Since I work from home, I’m lucky to spend lots of quality time with my pets throughout the day, and I’d love to extend that care and attention to your furry family members too. Whether it’s going for walks, sticking to a feeding routine, or just offering companionship, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and right at home. When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced yard that offers plenty of room for pets to run and play safely. We also have sidewalks throughout the neighborhood perfect for walks, a puppy play pen for supervised fun, and plenty of space to crate pets comfortably if needed. All areas are pet-proofed to prevent accidents, and I carefully manage food, toys, and any medications. When visiting a client’s home, I follow their routines closely to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. I make sure doors and gates are secure, hazardous items are out of reach, and I maintain open communication with owners about any special needs or behaviors. Building trust with pets and their families is important to me, so I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs.
“Julianne is great. Her and her husband were very caring and accommodating. She sent pictures of our pups multiple times which alleviated the stress of leaving them. Would definitely have her watch our dogs again.”
