About: My Experience My experience caring for dogs goes back well before I started doing this full time. In high school, I walked dogs for people in my community to earn extra money, so getting paid to grab a leash and spend time with dogs is actually something I’ve come back to years later. Whether it’s 2 PM or 2 AM, a beautiful sunny afternoon or a snowy morning, my goal is to be someone you can depend on—and someone your dog gets excited to see because they know it’s time to go explore. Safety, Trust & Environment: Your dog’s safety will always come first, but I also believe dogs deserve to experience the world outside. Rain, snow, or shine—hot or cold—I’m prepared to get them outside and moving. I’ll always adjust our pace, distance, and route to your dog and the conditions rather than automatically canceling a walk because the weather isn’t perfect. Throughout every walk, I pay close attention to your dog’s body language, breathing, energy level, paws, traffic, other animals, and our surroundings. On hot days, that means watching pavement temperatures, prioritizing shade and water, and recognizing signs of overheating. In cold or snowy conditions, I’ll monitor their paws and comfort and follow any instructions you have for coats, boots, or other gear. Weather won’t scare me away, but unsafe conditions will change the plan. Extreme heat, severe storms, dangerous ice, or conditions that could put your dog at risk may mean a shorter outdoor walk with the remaining time devoted to safe indoor attention and stimulation. Trust matters just as much. You’re trusting me with a member of your family and, in many cases, access to your home. I’ll respect your property, follow your instructions, communicate with you, and make sure your dog is safe and secure before I leave. I also want dogs to have the opportunity to be dogs. I’ll give them time to sniff, explore, investigate their surroundings, and experience what’s happening around them instead of treating every walk like a race. About: My home has been vet inspected as well as by the dog warden and I am licensed by the Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to run my business. I have had at least one dog for literally my entire life. So I have spent nearly 40 years with dogs, feeding bathing training and playing I am a stay at home mother. So I am at home 90% of the time. And when the weather is nice we are outside a lot. I have a fenced in yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. There is a 6 year old female lab to play with as well as a female german shepherd puppy. About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
About: Hi! My name is Kat, but I get it if that’s a dirty word in your house. I’ve been lucky to grow up with dogs of all levels; Huskies, Mastiffs, Pugs, etc. I started watching friends, family, and neighbors pets in 2019 and in 2021 I rescued my beautiful Cane Corso! I love all animals and can be trusted to treat your fur-baby with the upmost care and attention. I’m very active so I’m happy to play/hike/walk all day, I’ve even roller-skated with a pup. As I mentioned, I have a rescued giant breed. With her being a tougher rescue she has taught me how to handle almost any situation. She is reactive on walks so I’ve done training to continue to get her exercise with as much ease as possible. That being said, I can handle most dogs at all levels, no matter the size. Currently, I work 3 evenings a week with open daytime availability. I can drop in or take your pup for a walk anytime during the day and most evenings. I exercise often and go on lots of walks through the day, so if you have a high energy dog it’s no challenge for me. I wait a bit between exercise and feeding but I will prepare the food exactly how you and your pup prefer. I’m comfortable with crating and have done crate training.
About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I work part-time and am available after 2:30 pm Monday through Thursday. I am available all day Friday through Sunday. I can provide playtime and love during my free time. I have a fenced-in dog run and three dogs of my own. For safety and comfort, all dogs are crated at night and when I am out.
