About: I grew up with several large and small dogs in my household, and I also began watching dogs about 8 years ago. I began overnight sitting around 4 years ago as well. I have also been cat sitting for about 3 years, and have a cat of my own! I am comfortable administering prescriptions to all pets, as well as regular care (potty breaks, clean ups, brushing, interaction, litter boxes, walking, etc). I have worked with pets of all size variations, and am happy to work with yours! I am a full-time bedside RN on night shift, so I work 3 nights a week for 12-hour shifts. My schedule changes weekly, but I would never accept a job that I am not available for. I have great flexibility due to only working 3 nights a week, as I often switch back to days after a stretch, or can stay on nights if preferred. I am happy to watch your pet overnight at your home. I am comfortable with most services, including but not limited to: walking, going outside for potty breaks, cleaning up after pets, cleaning litter boxes, administering prescription medications, brushing pets, feeding pets, and more. If something is needed for your pet that is not listed here, I am willing to talk about it and see if it is in my scope!

About: I’ve owned and cared for my own pets since I was 10. Taking care of animals is my main passion. I used to work at a dog boarding kennel and was in the FFA at the career tech center for a year in high school, where I raised baby sheep and grew chickens. I am currently studying to be a zoologist where I hope to go into a career of taking care of animals! I own many pets myself, so I care for them daily and once a week I do a deep clean of all their cages, tanks and enclosures. Caring for animals is part of my daily life routine. I am attentive and have always been good at understanding what animals need/ want. I will never leave ur pets side unless they want alone time. I can play for hours with your puppy or just sit and cuddle your cat or dog. I really enjoy being around animals so it’s a treat just to meet new furry friends.

About: Currently offering walks and drop-ins for cats and pups! In the past I have always had a dog in the family and volunteered at local shelters. Now the owner of a seven-year-old german shepherd, Lyra, I am pretty seasoned with the ins-and-outs of caring for furry friends. I have been doing long walk ( mile - 2 mile walk ) challenges to keep her happy and whenever I stop in for a client, I make sure that I give your pup the same amount of attention as if they were my own. Rest assured your pup or cat will be pampered, snuggled, and get some playtime-in. You will receive photo updates (no need to respond) but I am very open during my visits so that you get a full rundown of their condition. I also fill out rover cards with details of activities and I am able to provide a quick pic on request. Please take some time to review the requirements for booking. I look forward to meeting your fur-friend and appreciate your business. My Rover schedule will reflect my availability, however, I may be able to accommodate your needs for an extended stay with communication. Our routine starts with breakfast between 7-10a. followed by a quick walk. We settle in for dinner sometime between 5-8p and usually go out one last time before bed. Pets are a priority in this household. I continue to work toward making sure that needs are met and your dog is comfortable throughout their stay. This includes creating space for smaller pets to lounge and request that all necessary care information is complete on their pet profile.

About: Hi I’m Katie! I am almost 19 and live in the Traverse City area. I graduated from Traverse City West. I also work part time. I’m attending NMC in the fall and hoping to become a surgical technician. I love all types of animals. I’ve taken care of puppies, senior dogs, cats, and this past summer worked on a goat farm! About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! I have a big yard, but it is not fenced in so your dog would have to be on a leash. I do not have any pets, but we do have 2 kids.

I have not always had a living situation where I was able to have my own pets, and my friends and family relied on me to care for their animals when they went on holiday. I have experience with special needs dogs, and I currently have a senior dog who needs oral medication, eye/ear drops, and other allergy-related care. I have a part-time job as a private tutor for math/science, which happens after school most days. This provides me a flexible schedule allowing for multiple drop-in visits per day for feeding/playtime/outside time for your pet(s). I am a responsible middle-aged adult, entrusted to care for students in a classroom for the last 25 years. I will treat your home and your pet(s) with the same respect I have given to my school/students, making sure that when you return, your home is clean and in the same condition you left it. I am familiar with how to use security systems, and I will take proper precautions with locking doors, windows, etc.

About: I have lots of experience with housesitting, I have a few families that I often housesit/dog sit for. I love being around animals, and I’ve watched anything from dogs and cats to goats, cows and chickens. I love it all! Your pets will be cared for and loved as if they were my own while in my care. From walks around your neighborhood to snuggles and treats your pet won’t even notice you left! When I house sit for my regulars I often send them picture updates of their pets so they can feel at ease and can see their animals are being taken care of and loved. Mondays are usually a lighter day and I am more flexible to be with your pet. During the week I will be at my regular job but can stop in on my break if the house is close to my work. Weekends I do not work at all and can be with the animals much more! I care for your pets like they are my own! I love playing, snuggling up and just hanging out with your fur baby. I have a dog of my own and he loves playing with other dogs or just coming along to hang out. If you have a dog that loves other dogs too then they will be best buds. (He also doesn’t have to come with me.)

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, including senior rescues, mixed breeds with behavior needs, and puppies and kittens. As an adult, I trained my puppy, North, who is almost 6, as well as rescued two kittens. I am a NICU nurse who loves to be active on my days off with North! We love walking, hiking, paddle boarding, and swimming! I will love and care for your furry loves as if they are my own! I am happy to follow any detailed instructions, preferred walking routes, administer medications, or just give extra pets as needed while you are away 😊 I only work 3 (long) days a week, so the rest of the week I am off and usually adventuring with North! I’ve crate trained my own dog, administered medications, and also have a fenced in yard if your pet ever needs space to zoomie with a very friendly and submissive golden retriever!

About: I have been around animals since a very young age. I grew up having to care for my dogs, cats, horses, cows, and sheep! I participated in 4-H for 10 years showing both cattle and sheep. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays. I was responsible for making sure the animals were as comfortable as possible. This involved cleaning their kennels daily, feeding, and medications. Later, I worked as a veterinary assistant for 6 months. I have house/dog and cat sat for various friends and family members throughout the years as well. I am very flexible! I am more than happy to stay at your home while pet sitting or simply come by to care for the pet a couple times a day. Open to working with you to figure out the best solution for your pet. Unfortunately my current lease does not allow pets. I am more than happy to work with you and figure out a schedule/plan that would fit your needs! While I am at a clients house I would stay in good communication with them. In the past, I have sent daily pet photos to the client and sending them updates whenever possible.

If the calendar says I am able to watch your dog, I am but the times during the day change everyday due to work! I do have 2 dogs in the house! 2 labs very friendly. Gunner 3 years old and Sadie Mae 6 months. I am a RN and I work 4 days a week. On my days off I am always on adventure with my dog Sadie. On the days I work, she’s at home with toys and we go on a walk once I’m back. I have a 1.5 year old lab, Sadie Mae. She loves new dogs and is fixed. She can be chill and than she had energy.

About: I have had a true love for animals since I was a little girl growing up on our farm. Animals have always been a big part of my life, whether it's my own, or caring for others, from cats up to horses and everything in between.
