I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. From the start, Scott and Steph put me at ease and even offered a meet up beforehand so we and our dogs could meet. I was updated daily, sometimes more, with video and photos and I could see immediately that my puppy was in the best hands I could imagine; it was like a vacation for my puppy, too! About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. From the moment we met Jared and his sweet dog Charlie we knew Finn would be in good hands during our 10 day trip. It was such a comfort knowing that Finn had all his favorite things from home and that he was allowed on furniture just like at home. Jared was so great at communicating and shared photos often. We could tell that Finn was doing well. He was able to warm up and relax with Jared and Charlie. In the past when Finn stayed at a kennel he was so nervous and upset when he came home afterwards but when we brought him home after staying with Jared Finn was his same sweet self. About: I'm an experienced elder with years of experience with cats. I know how important it is to find a true cat person to take care of your felines, as they require a different energy from humans. I have elderly cats at home that I have had since they were kittens. I have experience with feral kitties, strays, outdoor and indoor felines. I have a keen eye for behavior changes and have given all sorts of medications to my own cats (including asthma medications), so if you have one of these special creatures, feel free to reach out to see if I'm a good fit for your cat and their individual needs. About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. About: I have lots of experience with housesitting, I have a few families that I often housesit/dog sit for. I love being around animals, and I’ve watched anything from dogs and cats to goats, cows and chickens. I love it all! Your pets will be cared for and loved as if they were my own while in my care. About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.
“We couldn’t be happier with Jared and the care he provided for our anxious dog Finn! From the moment we met Jared and his sweet dog Charlie we knew Finn would be in good hands during our 10 day trip. It was such a comfort knowing that Finn had all his favorite things from home and that he was allowed on furniture just like at home. Jared was so great at communicating and shared photos often. We could tell that Finn was doing well. He was able to warm up and relax with Jared and Charlie. In the past when Finn stayed at a kennel he was so nervous and upset when he came home afterwards but when we brought him home after staying with Jared Finn was his same sweet self. We will definitely have Finn stay with Jared during any future trips we take. We’re so grateful to have found Jared and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.”

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!
“Sonya is a great communicator, and she and her husband are wonderful with dogs and anxious pet parents alike! Our original pet sitting plans fell through at the last minute, so we were getting nervous about our trip up north when we found Sonya. We're so glad we did! Our 9 year old pit mix, Sammy, has always struggled with separation anxiety (moping, barking at new people, refusing to eat). However, Sonya and her husband met him where he was at and showered him with patience and love. They ensured he had plenty of play and attention, and even got our reluctant eater to have a full belly! Sonya kept us updated with frequent photos and videos, allowing us to relax and enjoy our trip so much more, knowing Sammy was in such good hands. He truly didn't want to leave! We definitely plan to book with them again for our next trip to the area.”
“Lindsay was absolutely fabulous! Our daughter’s wedding was on this day and she stayed with our two dogs at the resort during all of the wedding festivities. She even brought the dogs over for pictures after the ceremony. 5 stars and two huge thumbs up!!
