I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. About: Hi! We are a family of 5 (mom, dad, and 3 girls whose ages are 16, 18, and 20) who love animals, being outdoors, and hanging out together. We are home almost every day because we homeschool. We are always walking and riding bikes around our neighborhood and love to go hiking, and also enjoy a nice evening relaxing by our fire and curling up with a good book. About: I've had cats my whole life, and while I've never owned a dog, I've pet sit for my family and friends on multiple occasions. And, for the past two years I've been working for a pet sitting company! It's been a great joy to get to know the dogs and cats I have met over the past two years. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
