About: I love all animals! I have previously owned and trained a Belgian Malinois rescue and a lab/pit rescue. Both wonderful dogs. I am a navy vet, dog owner and dog lover. I use positive reinforcement training methods, and I know how to read the body languages of animals. I am respectful, neat, and I'll make sure you pet is well taken care of! I offer dog sitting, and occasional boarding services. You can rest easy with the knowledge that if you hire me, they will be my number one priority. I will communicate at least once a day, and more if requested. I live in an apartment and WFH full time, so I'll be able to provide ample attention to your dog! Not that they might need it because my puppy Orion will be begging them to play nonstop! I monitor play time continuously to make sure they get along well. Sometimes if a client's dog DOESN'T want to play I make sure Orion leaves them alone. He'll just be whining on the couch. No matter the size of your dog, I'll make sure they are safe and comfortable. Orion has had experience playing with 100lb German shepherds and snauzers to mini pinchers. He loves all dogs that will play with him.

“Peggy was so great with our three dogs. We will absolutely trust her with our dogs again and would strongly recommend her to any pet parent, especially one with some special needs. We have two Papillions (13+14 years old) who both have their own issues. Our male is standoffish with people and doesn’t like anyone but he accepted her. Our female has some hearing and cognitive issues including nightmares but she showed patience and love and took great care of them. Our third dog is a 1 1/2 year old, 115 lb Great Pyrenees so we cover the spectrum with dog sizes. She also house sat for us and gave us that additional piece of mind.”

I work remotely full-time and live on lots of land that neighbors two local wooded trail areas for lots of exercise. I work remotely and have the flexibility to play and exercise your pups often if they are boarding. For drop-in's or walking services, I will work with you to establish a routine that fits best for you and your pup. I have a large fenced and non-fences yard space. I have a small very-friendly five pound Yorkie Mix who would love to keep a play mate occupied as well. If providing services at home, I pay attention to detail and ensure to provide your pet with as much stability and normalcy as possible while you are away.

“Christopher house sat and cared for our dog Pippa for almost a month while we were out of the country on vacation. Every day Chris sent us a picture and update on Pippa. We even got videos of her too! She was so well taken care of and Chris brought in packages and boxes that we received in the mail and sent us pictures of those too. We were impressed when we first met him, he had a system worked out to ensure that he would always know where Pippa was and would have the key to our house secure and available in the event he could not be there, which never happened. He had everything well thought out and we left for our vacation confident and reassured that everything would be taken care of. When we returned, Pippa was happy and as Chris promised, he left no trace of him having had been there! I highly recommend Chris as a pet and house sitter. He is dependable, punctual, true to his word and flexible with his availability in case our travel plans did not go smoothly, as can sometimes happen.
