About: Grew up on a farm with horses, raised kareem’s bear dogs as a kid! Lots of puppy training as well as. dogs of all kinds around the barn with visitors. great at training dogs to run and use the leash. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.

Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs.
