I am currently on summer break from school so pet care would fit very naturally into my daily and weekly routine right now, since my schedule is very flexible. I am currently volunteering at a food pantry, which allows me to structure my days in a way that can easily accommodate pet care visits, walks, or extended stays as needed. Because I don’t have fixed work hours, I’m able to be reliable for morning, midday, and evening check-ins, and I can adjust my availability based on client needs. My volunteer commitment is typically set and predictable, so it doesn’t interfere with scheduling pet care responsibilities. I’m also comfortable planning my week in advance to ensure I can consistently show up on time and give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. Overall, pet care would fit in seamlessly with my current routine, and I have the flexibility to be dependable, responsive, and attentive to each pet’s schedule. I care for pets in my clients’ homes and during walks, and my main focus is always keeping them safe and comfortable while respecting the owner’s space. When I’m in someone’s home, I follow all instructions closely and try to keep things as close to the pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel relaxed and not stressed. During walks and drop-ins, I make sure pets are secure on their leash and always supervised. I pay attention to their behavior and surroundings to make sure they stay safe, especially around other animals, people, and traffic. I also know how important trust is when someone is letting you into their home and caring for their pet, so I’m reliable, communicate clearly, and can provide updates so owners feel at ease while they’re away.

About: I (Tori) am a third year veterinary student at LIU post with a passion for providing high quality, reliable care to all animals! I have extensive experience working in veterinary clinics as well as pet sitting since I was in high school, so I am comfortable providing medical care to your pets. About: Own a Shepherd-Chow mix and a short hair cat. I also routinely babysit for a family friend's golden retriever and house sit while they are away on vacations. I house sit for a friend with 3 cats on occasion. I also have experience giving shots to animals with medical issues if necessary. Over the summer I work part time and have plenty of time for walks and/or drop ins. Schedule changes weekly but not by much definitely able to accommodate your needs. During most weekdays I am a teacher so I will be out of the house 7-3:30 (unless there is a vacation or holiday) I shower all my pets with love at every chance I get. About: I like to joke that I was “raised by Rottweilers,” because at three months old my parents delivered a litter of rottie pups. We always had rotties growing up until we got into rescuing mastiffs. I’ve been involved in rescue work since I was very young, and caring for animals is just second nature to me. My 7-year-old special-needs pup, Blake, is my heart. He’s been with me since I rescued him as a tiny puppy off the streets of Puerto Rico. More recently, we welcomed Jet, a bouncy heeler mix who keeps us all on our toes with his endless energy! Seeing Blake and Jet as my fur babies means I understand firsthand the patience and attention it takes to care for dogs with very different needs. Anything from managing medical routines to channeling playful energy - I have it covered. I treat every pet like family, because that’s exactly what they are to me. I work full-time from home, so my schedule is very flexible. My dogs get a quick morning walk around Powderhorn, followed by regular potty breaks in the yard and a longer hour+ walk/hike after 3pm. I live in a townhouse community with an unfenced yard that is great for playing fetch and running. Otherwise, as most Jackson locals, I am often on the local trails, or the Snake River Levee, making sure animals in my care get plenty of exercise and socialization!
