About: I have had pets since I was born. I currently live with four dogs and two cats and help take care of them. I can walk dogs on short and long walks. I can house sit any pets or check in as needed. I have a cat of my own named Clementine. She is an affectionate two year old who loves to play. My sister has a cat of her own named Ace. She is six and prefers her space. She will find you when she wants attention or wants to play. My parents have four dogs. The oldest is Ripley at eleven years old. She loves affection and to cuddle. Penny is a Westie mix who is eight years old. She is a sassy dog who will wrestle her way into getting love. Her brother, Balin, is an eight year old German Shepherd. When he is not barking at one of the neighbors walking on the sidewalk, he loves to play ball or play with his sisters. The youngest dog is Artemis. She is a two year old German Shepherd who cannot stop moving. She loves to play and be outside for as long as she can. I work Monday through Thursday from 8am to 3pm. I am free Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I give pets amble opportunity before I go to work to use the bathroom, eat, and stretch their legs before I leave. When I get back I take the pets out immediately and feed them when scheduled. If I do leave the house, I try not to be gone for more than 4-6 hours. I can follow all of the instructions to the letter. I understand everyone has preferences how their pet is taken care of. I would love to know any quirks or routines your pets may have. I like to update after every visit. For house sitting, I will send photos and an update in the morning and another one in the afternoon. I can provide more updates if desired.
“Hello, For a last minute booking, Anna was very professional and communicative during the process and her visit with our wonderful zoo. Would recommend and we will keep her in mind for our next getaway. Thanks again Anna. Dave”

“Tiffany was great! She was prompt and professional and took great care of Maggie. She took her for walks and outside to play while we were away. She also has good dog management skills which were obvious when she came to meet Maggie and get instructions. She immediately calmed her down and brought her energy under control. Our house was neat and everything was in its place. We will definitely book her next time we are out of town!”

About: I have taken care of foster dogs for a while now and wanted to offer my ability's to others. I have my owner trained service dog and can keep up training with your dog or even work on learning new skills. I may not have the most experience with pet sitting for others animals but I have been fostering shelter dogs for years My job is extremely flexible so I can work when I want for the most part. This allows me to take care of all animals. The animals will never be alone for more than 4 hours at a time. I spend most of my home time, other than sleeping, with the animals playing with them, working on training, giving proper medicine and letting them run around in my large fenced in backyard. If I am at your house for a week or taking the dogs on walks would be the only time I'll be away from my own home besides work. I can then spend the time I would be home with your animals. I have a husband to watch my own animals I have 2 cats and a resident dog. They are friendly and can keep your pup and kitty company! If your dog is a bit reactive with other animals I do have a room dedicated to the dogs I foster and care for. As of current I am taking a break from fostering to care for animals on rover so there will be no dogs with unknown temperaments. If I do have any dog reactive dogs to care for I will put resident dog up in my bedroom while I take out and play with your pup, they will never be alone long

I do work afternoons on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, but even then, I am free beforehand and am always back before dinner time. I will prioritize your pet and can offer to go over multiple times a day, and I’m free the whole day when I don’t have work! I prefer to care for pets in clients homes since they are more used to their environment and because I have roommates at my home.
“Jaimie was great with my dogs! I got constant updates about how they were doing and lots of pictures. One of my dogs is shy and Jaymie instantly understood and worked well with her to gain her trust. After picking them up from a weekend stay, my dogs have slept all day… so I know they were kept active and exercised during their stay.”

“Chelsea was absolutely amazing. I had her come to my house and meet my Buddy right away, I knew she was the one!! My dog takes medication no problem giving it to him. She just has such a nice way about her and her love for animals. Definitely will be having her back to watch my Buddy on our next vacay. Highly Recommended”

“Bethany was my first house sitter and she was amazing throughout the entire process. It was my first time booking a house sitting, and I had zero anxiety from start to finish letting an unfamiliar person into my home with her. She provided constant updates as the days went by, with pictures of everything also! Upon meeting she was very inquisitive about what care needed to be provided for my doggo, and she exceeded all expectations. My only regret was not booking her for the whole two weeks during my out of town venture. I very highly recommend her for any pet needs you have, and look forward to utilizing her services again!”

“Gabriel did a great job taking care of our dog, Lexi. He was responsible, attentive, and made sure to meet her specific needs. We could tell she was well cared for while we were away, and that gave us real peace of mind. Highly recommend Gabriel to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Erica was fantastic with our two miniature wires hair dachshunds. She stayed at the home and kept our dogs company while we were away over the Thanksgiving week. She kept us updated through the week and took them for walks. We highly recommend her.”

“Dustin was great with my dogs and followed my senior dog’s med schedule like I asked. I have nervous girl that was unsure at first but Dustin won her over and they were getting along great by the end of the visit. Dustin also went above and beyond and stayed late waiting for me to get home and not leaving the dogs alone.”

About: Hi there! My name is Sam and I have experience sitting for all types of animals. From cuddly Pyrenees, and scary-smart German pinschers, to spunky chinchillas, their best cat friends, and curious pythons. I have been through partial behavioral training for dogs (and their humans), and have experience with animal hospice situations, as well as behaviorally aggressive dogs. I prefer to keep the animal's care as consistent as possible. The more details you have of your preferred method of walking, reward, or preparation habits, the better. Trust and care are my number one goals when it comes to animal sitting. Not just with the four legged babies, but with the parents as well. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your care provider, and what a treat it is to know that you can trust someone with the care of your loved ones. Also, aren't dogs just perfect? I work for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and am currently on telework, so my weekly availability is early morning, and late afternoon. I also volunteer at the Old Dominion Humaine Society and occasionally foster for them at my house. I have one <1 year old puppy, and I have a home with a large yard but no fence. That means all foster dogs get leash walked always and there are many mind teaser toys for rainy days. I feed in crates and make it a safe space for them to decompress.

“This was our first time using someone outside of the family to watch our 13 year old dog. We needed someone who could stay at our house while we were gone because our dog wouldn't do well in a kennel type of environment. We were told about Rover by a friend and when I looked, I saw Warren's 5 star reviews. We had him come by and meet our dog and see if it he would be able to provide the care that our dog needed. Afterwards, we were convinced that Warren was the right one for the job. During our trip we were sent pictures of our dog and updates. After our return, we found that our dog was doing well and we were more than satisfied with the job that Warren had done. We would definitely recommend Warren to anyone in our area looking for a sitter, and we will definitely use him again when needed in the future.”
