“We are new to the area so did not know anyone to ask for dog care, so I found Elliot totally organically via Rover and am glad I did. Elliot was awesome. We had him house/dog sit for us for close to a week and he was great. Very responsive and understanding when the dates of our trip got moved around. Also he was able to swing by and let the dogs out again when our flights got delayed. The dogs were happy and healthy when we got home and seem like they loved him. We will be asking (hoping) Elliot can dog sit for us again in the future.”

About: I’ve had over 50 years of caring for many breeds of dogs, including my own. I am respectful of others homes and can be trusted to give loving care to your dogs. I am a retiree that has a fairly open schedule and able to spend the night at your home. I may need to leave for an hour two at times for health appts. and going to our home to let our own dog out for a bit. I am flexible on how to care for your dogs in your home, including using a crate. I will respect your current ways of sharing your home with your dogs.

About: Having grown up on a farm, caring for animals has always been second nature to me—especially dogs. Whether it’s a young, energetic pup or an older dog needing extra care, I understand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for every pet. Dog sitting isn’t just about supervision—it’s about ensuring each dog feels at home, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. With my background and deep love for animals, I strive to make every dog feel like part of the family. I work from home and run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive and loving care for pets. Being home throughout the day allows me to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times. I provide a safe, loving environment where pets feel secure and at ease. From feeding and playtime to administering medications and offering plenty of affection, I tailor my care to each animal’s needs. On top of all this, Bridget was watching our pets at a point where the cat and dog were getting used to living with one another, and she did a wonderful job giving them supervised interactions and continuing our socialization for both of them while we were gone. About: I’m usually the first person my family calls when they need someone to care for their cutie pets while they’re away. As a grad student and pet owner myself, I understand the emotional support that animals can provide! Pets are family members and I understand what it takes to look after family. I send daily photo updates and report back any information requested. I have experience maintaining training schedules for puppies. I’m diligent at following care plans and requests. I want to reduce the amount of stress they might experience in the absence of their loving owner(s)! Keeping their routine as similar as possible is key. Meal times, walk times, crate/no crate, on/off furniture, treats, etc. are all things I try to attend to. I am open to specific requests your pet might need!

About: I did an internship at medical mutts where I trained service dogs and helped take care of them. I’ve watched friends dogs. I train dogs too! I’m not really doing anything, so I’m available pretty much whenever, I am totally flexible. I can do long term or short term schedules. I want your dog to be safe! I’m unfortunately not able to do boarding at my house, but I can take your dog out to see my little brothers or my grandma because she loves dogs, I can take your dog to the park and I can even train your dog!
