My goal is to provide exceptional care to the animals that bring joy into a life full of chaos. I have a full time job. I work at the clinic so I will be unavailable from 8-4:30. Afterwards, I am available the rest of the day to keep your animals stimulated. The care I provide is different depending on the animals needs and your personal requests. Each animal and family has a different schedule and priorities. I will follow the animals behaviors as well as personal requests to provide the best care possible.

About: My entire life I have been raised with lots of animals and was always so excited to play with the pups. I have always had a thought about wanting to become a dog trainer and when I bought my first dog that was my own it showed me that I really am interested in an animal focused career! I currently do not work, so I fortunately have all the free time to spend time and play with these sweet and amazing fur babies! I will always follow the clients wishes and preferred schedule. I know how scary it can be leaving your animal with someone else and not being able to be there:(

“Thank you!”

“Rachel took great care of my two kitties while I was on vacation. She sent pictures, videos, and updates daily. Rachel ensured my kitties were safe and cared for. I highly recommend!”

About: I have had pets in my household for as long as I could remember. Growing up we had cats, dogs, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and hermit crabs. In high school, I watched family and neighbors pets while they were away. In college, I got a job at a humane society. Here, I learned how to care for sick animals, administer medications, give vaccinations, treat fleas, remove ticks, take care of puppies and seniors, and much more to make sure all the animals were healthy. Also, I learned how to deal with aggressive and behavioral dogs/cats. Now, I have 4 dogs and 3 cats of my own. Most of them were rescues. I am currently a substitute teacher while I go back to school for my teaching degree. Days vary but typically I will be working 8 hours a day if I do get a job for the day. On weekends, I normally don’t have anything going on. I have a fenced in backyard that allows my dogs to run and use the bathroom. In the morning and at night, I take them for walks. In the afternoon, I take my GSP for a run. On weekends, we like to go to Sniffspots or hiking. In a clients home, I will take them for walks, play in the fenced in backyard if applicable, and sometimes with permission will take them hiking.

“Erik did an excellent job taking care of our dog! He kept us regularly updated with messages and pictures, showing just how happy and well-cared-for she was. Erik also made sure she got exercise by playing with her outside. I highly recommend Erik to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“As first time Rover users, it was unnerving to just “trust the app,” but we are so glad we did. Hailey was wonderful- checking in with us and sending photos- and we will definitely book her again! Thanks Hailey :)”

About: Hi there! I’m new to pet care through Rover, but animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently care for a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and fish at home, along with my three sweet cats. I also regularly help with my partner’s two large dogs, so I’m comfortable with big breeds and all kinds of energy levels! Growing up, I had pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, small mammals, and more—and I spent two years working at a pet store, where I learned a lot about animal health, nutrition, and enrichment. Whether your pet has fur, scales, or something in between, I’d love to give them the care and attention they deserve while you’re away! I’ve got open availability through the end of summer and would love to spend time with your pets! 🐾 I just pop home now and then to check on my own crew, but I’m super flexible and happy to work around your schedule. ✨ While I don’t offer care in my own home at this time, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in their space, where they feel safe and comfortable. I’m gentle, respectful, and always aim to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible—whether that means snuggle time on the couch, playtime in the yard, or just a quiet check-in and refill of food and water. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and love I give my own. 💛

About: Hello! I have been working as travel nurse the past 5+ years, while I do love traveling, it makes it difficult to have to a pet. I am hoping to fill that void by helping to take care of yours! I grew up on a hobby farm- we had chickens, ducks, goats, horses, cows, cats, and dog- my childhood dog was an Australian Shepard. As a travel nurse I have lived with several roommates who had dogs, and I loved spending time with them! Outside of travel nursing, I enjoy traveling for fun. I recently spent three months volunteering on a game reserve in South Africa for wildlife conservation efforts. There I was able to care for orphaned rhinos, pangolins, and of course spend time with the anti-poaching K9s! I am currently working night shift. As a traveler I do not have a lot of say in my schedule, so the days I work each week varies. I may not be able to be your primary pet sitter/walker but would love to fill in when needed! I will keep your pets safety a priority. When caring for your pet in your home I will follow all of your pet care instructions, and respect your home and privacy.

About: I had a huskey when I was younger that I took care of everyday. I now have a 1 year old Aussie doodle. I am trained in emergency situations. My current job allows me plenty of time off to play and love your animals. I’m available almost everyday in someway. I have plenty of time and availability to walk and feed and play with your pet. I have an underground fence for my own dog. He is super friendly and loves to play. I live close to the dog park for plenty of fun and exercise. I have multiple crates to use as needed.

About: I’ve grown up with many different kinds of animals from dogs to bunnies to hamsters. I’ve also been around cats my entire life we just never had one in the house because my mom was allergic. I love animals as they have been my entire life growing up! I have done a couple dog sitting jobs and a few drop in visits this 2025 year. Pet care takes place in my everyday life because I have an 8-year-old dog and just got a puppy recently. I love to take them on walks and play with them outside. I also love teaching them new tricks and making sure they have fresh food and water. I can take your dogs on walks if they need them daily. I would also love to play with them to keep them entertained and get there energy out. If your dog sleeps in the bed no worries I love to have a snuggle bug next me.

About: I’ve mainly taken care of friends and family pets since i was around 15(28 now). I am capable of feeding, bathing, short walks, supervision while outside and in. I can make time as needed. I work part time as a caregiver and am a full time student online. Because i only work part time I have quite a bit of free time during the week I do not offer out of home care as I have two cats that are my limit due to apartment rules. When in someone else’s home I respect obvious and stated boundaries and can also provide light cleaning if necessary!
