About: My mom has taken care of other people’s dogs for years, and I’ve helped her on many occasions. I’ve also attended dog training classes with my own two dogs! My availability is a little different than my calendar, but Rover won’t allow me to change it. SO, this is my availability around my spring semester classes: Mondays from 12pm-3pm, Wednesdays anytime after noon (may vary with my work schedule), Fridays all day (may also vary with my work schedule), and every other weekend (reach out to find out when). I am not available Tuesdays or Thursdays! My schedule can change, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask if you have any questions! I’ll be able to do whatever you need; whether it be playing or walking, helping potty train and learn tricks. I also go for runs, so if your dog has more energy, I can take him/her on a run instead of a walk! If interested, I do have some younger siblings if you’d like to get your pet(s) used to kids!
About: I have had pets in my household for as long as I could remember. Growing up we had cats, dogs, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and hermit crabs. In high school, I watched family and neighbors pets while they were away. In college, I got a job at a humane society. Here, I learned how to care for sick animals, administer medications, give vaccinations, treat fleas, remove ticks, take care of puppies and seniors, and much more to make sure all the animals were healthy. Also, I learned how to deal with aggressive and behavioral dogs/cats. Now, I have 4 dogs and 3 cats of my own. Most of them were rescues. I am currently a substitute teacher while I go back to school for my teaching degree. Days vary but typically I will be working 8 hours a day if I do get a job for the day. On weekends, I normally don’t have anything going on. I have a fenced in backyard that allows my dogs to run and use the bathroom. In the morning and at night, I take them for walks. In the afternoon, I take my GSP for a run. On weekends, we like to go to Sniffspots or hiking. In a clients home, I will take them for walks, play in the fenced in backyard if applicable, and sometimes with permission will take them hiking.

About: Growing up I had the opportunity to baby sit my neighbors many pets including dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, tortoises, birds, and more! I've also baby sat for relatives dogs. I recently lost my beloved senior dog, but would love to be able to put that love I once gave him into caring for your pets. I'm a registered nurse and typically work 3 12 hour shifts a week. On my days off I am available for walks or home drop ins! Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or interests! I have experience walking and homing my families dogs, and administering oral medications.
About: I worked at a dog daycare and boarding place for 2 years. I have looked over and cared for puppies to senior dogs including meds and special care such as epilepsy, injuries, aggression, and much more. I also have trained my own dogs and many friends dogs. I trained my aussie in agility and my old lab in dock diving and duck hunting. I love all dogs regardless of background, breed, size, and shape. I have also worked with delivering and the aftercare of brand new puppies! I recently got laid off, so I have plenty of free time for yours and my pet! I have a high energy Australian Shepherd, so proper dog care takes up a lot of my time! I will always put your pup first and make sure he/she is happy, healthy, and loving his/her vacation from everyday life. I usually take my own on a walk every morning and would be so excited to bring a new friend with around the neighborhood. I also like to go over training and give lots of love and high-quality treats!
“Emily is great! Very clear that she cares for my dog like her own and I love the pictures she sends. She even goes above and beyond to give my cat some (very welcome) attention too when picking up/dropping off!”

“Jody did a great job with our 12 yr old dog. She went at Betsy’s pace and ended up doing a mile. It’s obvious that Jody loves dogs and truly cares about giving them a walk that matches their personality and ability. 😊”

About: Most of my friends call me an animal whisperer. I love pets and always have. Born and raised on a farm, animals are not new to me. I am pretty well versed in loving animals, as well as caring for animals as they deserve. I am currently home full-time, loving on my own 50 lb. Aussiedoodle, Hans. Hans and I would love to offer our spare time in support of your pet needs. I also am a guinea pig mom to 9 special guinea pigs! Animals are the way to my heart, and I can always make time for one more. I do not currently have a fenced yard, but I live on open acres set apart from any close neighbors. Leashes can be used outside of the home to provide ultimate safety and security for your pet. I am always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
About: I’ve grown up with many different kinds of animals from dogs to bunnies & hamsters. I’ve also been around cats my entire life we just never had one in the house because my mom was allergic. I love animals as they have been my entire life growing up! I have been dog sitting for a year now, since January 2025 Pet care takes place in my everyday life because I have an 8-year-old dog and just got a puppy recently. I love to take them on walks and play with them outside. I also love teaching them new tricks and making sure they have fresh food and water. I can take your dogs on walks if they need them daily. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
